This is the fastest server I know. He definitely spread the love of 54th street. After having a short conversation with him, I found out that this young man's name is Kellen! I found him extremely attractive, make sure you get seated in his section, ladies ;) when I am ready to bear children, I hope my children are exactly like him. LOL.

We drove from Houston to San Marcos because we love this restaurant so much. And it did not let us down. The food was GOOD!!!! Portion for a full size fry could have been better but all in all it was good. Not crowded and clean.

I ordered Salmon and vegetables and this is the first Salmon that I eat that’s very delicious, juicy, and the temperature of the food was perfect. The staff are very kindly and professional. I will come back without a doubt.

I can't say enough about this Establishment. it's My FAVORITE RestaurantParking: This Establishment isis VERY popular.Sooo depending on certain events i.e. Graduating, Sports activities and tourist. You may want to pack your patients and expect a little wait time as well as any other Establishment depending on the events that are in play.

Came in for happy hour and it went downhill from there. The server said all of the beers were included, but the ipa would come in a short glass rather than a pint. Started with a dogfishead, which tasted off and switched to a different beer after that. We ordered apps and meals. The French dip never came with au jus until the meal was over, just took the sandwich to go. The meat on the nachos was bland and really dry. Salad tasted like leftovers from a lunch buffet, but the tots were at least good. The only good food to touch the table. When we got the check, the server went to talk to the manager multiple times about us being charged full price on happy hour items, but the manager refused to honor what the server said abut the happy hour drinks. I ended up getting sick within 2 hours, either from the sour beer or the old nacho meat. This was an exceedingly bad experience, 2 stars only because I felt like the FOH folks with the exception of the manager who wasn't even willing to come over and talk to the table were nice. Do better. Truly, do better
This was the first good casual dining experience we've had this week. Good not great. Food was hot and flavorful. Chicken fried steak was fresh and tender with great sides though the Brussels sprouts could have been more roasted. The chicken tortilla soup was savory but a bit skimpy on the chicken. Chicken salad sandwich was hearty and what I needed. I was on the fence between 3 and 4 but went with 3 because at the end of our meal, the server took our way too long processing our payment and took care of several food-related things with another table while he held our card. Not awful, but when you're ready to go, you're ready to go.
