I love this place. We go there at least once a week. It’s small but there are always families with young kids there on the weekend which makes us feel good since we have a Rowdy toddler.Their food is amazing and coffee is great. Highly recommend.

The bacon potato wrap is the bomb-diggidy. While avocado says optional, it’s really not. YOU HAVE TO GET IT (cuz it’s so good). Egg avocado croissant is perfection. Scramble the eggs for maximum flavor and minimal mess. 10/10 for scrumptious sausage egg and cheese croissant. Coffee and chai were delicious!! Lastly, doughnut holes were little cinnamon balls of flavor. Food is fresh and service is spectacular. Can’t wait to go back and try more on the big menu!

Hands down the best chocolate frosted donuts I’ve ever eaten! Light, fluffy and the chocolate frosting is ‘real’ chocolate frosting! Chai latte is hit or miss depending on who makes it. But finding them open during posted hours is a bust 9/10 times I’ve tried to go. The posted hours on the door say 7:30 am which is fantastic for me as I always try to pop in before work to grab donuts for the office, or breakfast and tea for myself. But they are rarely open when I go by. I’ve tried a dozen times and have found them open once! Last week I pulled in at 7:50 and a dude was putting the sidewalk furniture out. By the time I gathered my phone and keys he was inside and the door was locked. He was behind the counter and ignored me when I knocked on the door and then he walked into the kitchen. DON’T SAY YOU OPEN AT 7:30 IF YOU DON’T OPEN UNTIL THE EMPLOYEES FEEL LIKE IT! Not a good way to run a business.

Donuts were awesome. I had never visited this place and I have been working in San Marcos for a while. I will be making a trip there the next time I need a donut fix.

Hot chicken biscuits are the house specialty and a fine specialty it is. Very tasty, chicken freshly prepared, fluffy biscuits and Nashville hot sauce. The other pictured biscuit is what they call an S.E.C., a combination of whole hog sausage, fried egg and cheese on one of those fluffy biscuits, mmmm, good. The donuts looked excellent, but this was a morning for protein and carbs. This place is popular so there may be a wait.

love the variety in plant-milks, but lacks vegan options. could easily make the veggie bowl have a tofu scramble instead of egg.

I love stopping here when I'm on the square solely for their honey butter chicken biscuit. It is to die for. I'm not a fan of coffee so I cant rate that but the food is delish so I assume the coffee is too.

I visited at a very busy time, but they were still speedy with my order. I got the spinach avocado bowl and a blueberry doughnut. The bowl was a perfect portion and quite tasty. I should’ve asked for the blueberry doughnut to be warmed up but it still tasted good. I’ll definitely be coming back to try a drink next time!

The food is excellent!!! I always get the egg, bacon, and cheese croissant and it's always delicious! The jelly filled donuts are the best and the lattes are great too! Customer service is nice there and the food comes out at a decent time even when they're busy! The restaurant is located right on the square which is perfect for a little date or for meeting friends for coffee!

The food here was incredible. I got a bacon/egg/potato/cheese wrap and a salted sweet cream cold brew. My friends and I split the honey butter chicken biscuit, and nutella donut. It was all super tasty and hit the spot for a quick brunch.

This place is absolutely incredible! I was a loyal customer of a local doughnut shop for 19 years, in my hometown. Anytime there was a morning activity, or someone was moving, or if we had company from out of town.. that’s where we would get a quick breakfast. It had the best doughnuts and other breakfast items.I never thought I would find a place that would blow my local doughnut shop out of the water!Babes has the most delectable doughnuts that are air-y light and delicious! Their bowls, wraps, sandwiches, etc are flavorful and incredible! No cheap ingredients, and all freshly made!It is now my favorite place for breakfast!(Starbucks doesn’t even have anything in this place!)

I love this place! I love the people here; they're always so friendly. This place has the best lemon filling I've ever had! The plants offer a relaxed atmosphere, and the variety of quality baked goods never leaves me bored. My partner and I used to come here every other weekend when she lived in San Mar, grabbing some coffee and croissants and sitting down together in the morning before starting our day.If you come here, try the spinach wrap, avocado egg and cheese croissant, strawberry shortcake, or lemon filled donut. Shoutout to the people behind the counter!
