Specifically went here for crawfish. Was told that they don't serve crawfish until Saturdays. Felt like an inconvenience even though there were only 4 other customers there. Do not recommend.

Bulldaddies has hands down the best buttery spicy crawfish in town! If they’re having a crawfish boil you really don’t want to miss out! It was previously called Louie’s if you’ve been here awhile they’re under the same ownership. It’s a great place to go to watch the game. They have soooo many taps, a fun spin the shot wheel, and nice upbeat bartenders. They recently remodeled and it looks really nice the vibes are always good. I have brought my three year old son with me for a boil and he enjoyed himself on the turf and with the big jenga. I’ve seen other kids there, college kids, people with tattoos, grandparents literally anyone can come here and feel welcome.

Two star for the queso burger being good, both our sodas tasted like they had no syrup in them, gfs brisket came out cold and had like congealed fat that hadn’t melted even a little bit. Definitely more bar than restaurant. Bartenders/servers seemed highly

I used to come here all the time when it was Louie’s and loved it. This was my first time back since the rebranding, and the experience was still awesome. The food tasted even better than I remembered. Chloe went out of her way to make sure I received exceptional service. She answered all my questions and made sure I was taken care of the entire time. Thank you for being awesome!

So this place is called Bulldaddies or some ridiculous other name I didn't care to learn. May seem harsh...but it's only because I used to come to LOUIES years ago when I went to school at Texas State. Me and my friends used to love this spot. It was laid back, fun atmosphere, food was good and drinks were priced reasonably for a college kid! This was the best spot to start your night or hangout and day drink with your group because the service was always top notch! The bartenders were super cool and fun to chat with but also always busting their asses to take care of everyone. Fast forward to the present? Literally the opposite from what I remember. The service was so painfully god awful that we ended up just leaving, which I'm sure the girls were probably happy about because then they had less work to do. They look at you like you're an inconvenience to them....a whole "how dare you come in to an open establishment and make us put our phones down for five seconds.....but tip me 100% because I'm wearing skimpy clothes" vibe. I remember (idk if this is right) when Nina, Patrick, April and Dominique were there they were always welcoming and friendly and super fast service...but I guess whenever they moved on so did decent customer service. I'm very big on service and quality of your experience at a place. If the service is great, I don't care if my food was over cooked or if it took longer than usual to get the food out, because I'm enjoying myself. Bad service ruins it all for me. Needless to say, severely disappointed to come back to visit an old favorite just to see it's been run into the ground and nowhere near what it used to be. Won't be visiting again.

Bartenders were very unengaged, almost rude but didn't pay enough attention to be rude. Beer was good but environment was weird, order drinks and food from the bar, no wait staff, get a pager for food then pick up from a counter with no one there. Food was really good, I had the combo basket with fried catfish and shrimp fries and hush puppies. Won't go back.

If you’re a black person and you want to be discriminated against, go here. The dark haired female bar tender wouldn’t let me order more than one drink at a time. Then charged extra for the drink. When I asked another employee if that was a policy, he laughed and said no, only if you’re with a group and they think you’re ordering for a minor. I only came with my man. As the only black people in the establishment I didn’t want to make a scene but I’m definitely not returning. Especially after witnessing her give a white guy right before me an order 4 shots. Also, the catfish basket is mid. Overly fried under seasoned. Do not waste your money.

Absolute great place to eat and have a drink! The food was really good! Ask for Cason or Hannah! They were both really great bartenders!

Aiden had terrible customer service all around tonight.

Starr Foxx

Bartender AIDEN was rudely loud and demanding (the music wasn’t even up) while we finished the last of our beer tower he demanded a tip after closing out because my friends and I felt uncomfortable and outcast from the service that other customers were provided. We have been to this bars numerous times and the ladies have never been as disruptive as Aiden. Please reconsider his position for being approachable and welcoming is not in his skill set.

Great staff and great drinks. You’re trippin if you go anywhere else for day drinking. Best wings in San Marcos hands down. Puts wingstop and pluckers to shame.
