When we first went to Cheddar's, a few years ago, we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The food is mainly American comfort. It is always well prepared and the staff is always attentive. Pricing is a good value for the amount of food you get. One of my favorites is their Cornmeal White Fish Platter, with coleslaw and fries. Definitely worth a try.
Our server Madelyn was excellent. After learning Cheddars no longer offers the Talapia/ shrimp plate she recommended the white fish, I ordered it blackened and it was delicious. Thank you Madelyn for your service.
The restaurant was really pretty and clean. Bravo on presentation! The sweet tea wasn't really sweet. The side salad was huge! The ribs were wonderful but the chicken was overcooked and dry. The batter had good flavor on them though. The chips and queso were okay. The queso didn't have any flavor. Service was polite, good and attentive!
