I am extremely disappointed with the way my daughter was treated at Chimy’s. She was escorted out of the restaurant not because of her behavior, but because of a personal issue one of your employees had with her.
This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Restaurants are supposed to provide a welcoming and respectful environment for all customers. Instead, my daughter was embarrassed and discriminated against for reasons that had nothing to do with her contact as a paying customer.
I expected better standards of professionalism and customer service from Chim’ys. If personal grudges are allowed to interfere with how guests are treated It reflects very poorly on your management and training. I Hope your address a situation promptly so that to ensure that no other customer has to go through this treatment.

The brunette cement headed bartender on the patio probably needs to stay in school. Literally asked us “soft or crispy tacos?” We asked for soft only to then turn around and say “ we only have crispy “. Rude inconsiderate staff. Very disappointed.

I love chimys, its a go to for me and my friends, but the brunette girl behind the counter is sooo rude and has an attitude before you even get up there. She also got my order wrong and I paid wayyy to much for what i got.

This is the perfect place if you're looking for great service and drinks. Many establishments in SM (or anywhere else, for that matter) have bartenders who act like elitists and don't understand customer service. When my car broke down, I was able to charge my phone while waiting for roadside assistance, and the staff responded with empathy. Additionally, the bartenders and waitstaff are not only attractive but also very friendly. This place truly feels like home.

If you would like to not hear the person sitting next to you because it’s so loud then this is the place for you! The food was not terrible but we did have to send back our burger because it was not fully cooked. Once it was it was alright. The soda in the soda machine definitely tasted like the machine could benefit from a cleaning. This is a very nice place for a college kid but if you are over 33 and not drunk then probably choose somewhere else. We also went Friday night so maybe it would be better another night.

Be mindful of parking and doing business here. The restaurant allows for a tow truck company to have one of their employees park in a Nissan Altima also known as a tow spotter. My girlfriend who is an amputee and has to walk on crutches to get around parked in a spot with no towing signs but still got her car towed. The car was there for no more than an hour and got no warning from anyone. She had to go call an uber to get her car back. Pretty shady for the restaurant to allow this operation to go on, I wonder how much of a cut they are getting from the tow company.
Was from out of town visiting, heard a lot of great things about this place from TikTok so took the family to check it out. We ordered and 1 hour and sum later our food never came out. We kept asking our waitress and she would disappear to go check on it. In the meantime, customers that walked in after us were getting their meals. Had to ask for a refund because she charged me for my tab before she brought anything out to us. Then as I’m talking to manager my waitress says, your order is almost out. Would you like it to go.

First time visiting this establishment.. HIGHLY disappointed. KENZIE at the inside bar is insanely rude. Ordered chicken chile quesadilla. An hour later, they called our name.. NO quesadilla. I was told they were remaking it. Called out names three more times- only for there to be NO quesadilla. Orders nachos bc then I was told there was no chicken.. called my name again. No food. I went up to the bar and KENZIE told me to calm down. I’m a pregnant mom just trying to eat some food. I don’t need to be told to calm down by some trashy bartender who can’t get orders right. I asked for a manager. I was REFUSED. So I’m writing this review in HOPES that some decent manager will call so we can rectify this issue.

While I’ve always loved going to Chimy’s for their unbeatable Happy Hour—great prices without sacrificing quality—I had the pleasure of working with their team recently for something even more special: my college graduation celebration.
Though Chimy’s doesn’t have a private event space, their team, including the managers and even the owner, went above and beyond to help me accommodate a group of 45+ friends and family. We collaborated to create some great drink specials, and guests were able to order their own food from a curated selection I worked on with them. Everything came out fresh and delicious—no complaints, only compliments!
The drink prices remained affordable, and the quality was top-notch, as always. But what truly made the experience stand out was the staff’s professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to work with me to make the night unforgettable. Thanks to this experience, they’ve gained a loyal group of customers for years to come.
Highly recommend Chimy’s—not just for a casual hangout, but for any fun group get-together where great food, drinks, and service matter!
