I came across this bakery when staying in town for a work event. I want to bring some local treats into a meeting and this place was amazing! They had such a great assortment, they were the most accommodating too. I am so happy to have stumbled across this place. If I am ever back in the area, I will be back.

We came on 30 mins before closing, the woman who attended us was super nice. She offered us a sample cookie in comparison to another one we originally wanted. She also gave us some good recommendations and everything tasted amazing! We will be coming back, thank you!

This is hands down the BEST place to get conchas at!!! They wrap each one in plastic baggies to keep them soft and fresh for days. The customer service is amazing and welcoming and prices are reasonable .Thank you san marcos City Bakery!

Was really looking forward to trying all the different pastries I bought, unfortunately every single one had a very strong taste of something that just wasn’t right. I had to throw out the entire box.

Service was nice & very friendly. Sadly & unfortunately, everything I ordered tasted old & had a very strong & unpleasant aftertaste. I spent $24 & tipped $1 just to throw away the entire order. I had driven more than 30 minutes on my way home from work & was heading home before I realized how bad everything tasted. I didn't want my family to get sick. I was too sleepy & tired to turn around & ask for a refund, or I would have. I will not be returning. Lots of room for improvement.
