My favorite is the DQ Dude Combo with onion rings and a shake it's the perfect choice for me .

I went into Dairy Queen last week to order some lunch and was promptly greeted by a young lady behind the service window. She said someone would be with me shortly. Within seconds, I was greeted by another young lady who took my order and said it would be a few minutes because they would have to cook my steak fingers. A third employee made sure I was being taken care of and asked if I needed anything else. My food was handed to me hot and fresh with a smile and sincere thanks for coming in. It was a fresh change from the distant impersonal interactions at most establishments; especially fast-food restaurants.

Ya no, the manager thinks it’s acceptable to give people half ice cream on your cupfection. I had to ask them to remake 2 of my ice creams. I gave them a chance to make it right and they don’t care. Your hard earned money is best spent elsewhere go to the fro yo place near the theatre or somewhere else this place ain’t it.

Long wait in drive thru, cold burger patty, uncooked bacon, fries tasted like dirt, and probably got the furthest thing from sweet tea I’ve ever had..

This place is absolutely the worst. Our meal took almost AN HOUR AND A HALF at the drive through. I understand that sometimes orders get backed up or it gets busy, but it was not that busy. there weren’t even many people inside. They told us to pull up and someone would bring our blizzards. It was another 15 minutes until my friend went inside to ask about them & they told her the machine was broken. while I was waiting in the car, a worker came out and told me that the worker completely forgot about the blizzards and that they would make them. I don’t even write reviews often but this place absolutely sucks. do NOT come here.

Ordered a patty melt. Patty was cold. Texas toast wasn't toasted. No bacon. One onion ring. 15 minutes in the drive thru. For one patty melt. Worst experience I've ever had. Would have been better if I went to McDonalds
My mom and I went to this DQ for dinner, and as soon as you walk in it was so smoky it was hurting my eyes, then we waited 30 mins for one burger and steak basket, when I walked up to ask why it was taking a long time and cashier said we are waiting for the steak basket, the tried to serve me food that had been seating there. And then as I was waiting, I’m assuming she was the Manager her name was Alyssa, she then started yelling at her employee right in front where the customers can see, in my years of management, that was very unprofessional of her to do. This has been the worse experience I have ever had in DQ location. I will not be returning this location anymore

Came on 9/22 at 7:25, Angela in the front was great but she deserves a better job and coworkers.
The two guys working this night aren’t really good.
My burger came out and had one patty instead of two, I could care less if they were busy.. but there was no one there indoor or drive thru.
What bugged me was when two others who had ordered burgers went to the front to ask about missing tomatoes in both burgers and when the cashier asked the cook for some, his reply was “no”.
She had to walk to the back to figure out what was going on. She noticed he had no tomatoes, but then it was found they just didn’t have some cut.
As we’re about to leave, I see the only person that gave us good service sitting down on her break.
Receipt in hand, waiting for her food, which isn’t being brought or worked on. Terrible team.
Regardless, with the tables all having a slight stickiness to them and the booth seats all being torn and needing replacements. It makes me wonder what the GM is doing with this store. ?
Desserts weren’t bad, but this sleepy staff needs a wake up call. This place will fail w/o it sadly.
I can see why this location is not busy during peak hours. Had a horrible experience and will not come back to this location in the future. Before ordering, we inquired about the chicken fried steak sandwich, not ordering it, only asking a question about it. The cashier (Krystal G) inputs it in for the order. I proceeded to tell her we weren’t ordering it and to remove it. Now all she is thinking about is steak. My husband and I both ordered chicken strip combos, stating the word “chicken” more than once. Silly me for not checking the screen. Our food comes and it’s steak fingers. We told her we ordered chicken strips, not steak fingers. She says all she heard was steak. Apparently all this is expected when every place in town is run by college students, so lesson learned. We were planning to just keep both steak finger boxes and pay for one chicken finger box, as my husband is Hindu and cannot eat beef. We were first offered a refund, but my husband kindly declined and asked if he could just have the chicken instead. They did give us a chicken strip combo and took back one of the steak strip combos, which is fine. Food was hot, but that’s about the only positive. Also, about 20 of the 28 drinks in the soda machine were out so we were given cans of soda. It’s ridiculous that the employees are very aware of the drink machine being empty, but still proceed to give people their cup and send them to the machine without a heads up prior.

It would have been great but we walked in an waited while some young male employee kept talking loudly and did not seem to be working just talking. Another employee came out if the kitchen area and got our order. The entire time the loud mouth just kept talking and cussing. I had two of my kids with me and had to restrain myself from talking to him. We moved as far as we could from the counter area and ate our ice cream treats and could still hear the loudmouth. I glad I dont live near that store.

If Dairy Queen wanted to open a comedy show instead of an ice cream shop, this San Marcos location nailed the audition. The girl at the drive-thru looked like she had just rolled out of a drug recovered nap she didn’t finish barely able to mumble words, barely able to hand anything out the window, everything in slow motion like a bad TikTok filter. Our Blizzards? Melted ice cream soup with zero sign of the “extra chocolate, pecans, or cookie dough” we paid for. They couldn’t even manage the signature upside-down test probably because the cup would’ve spilled everywhere.
When I spoke to the manager, instead of fixing the problem, she chose to argue. Her big solution? Hold up a spoon to demonstrate how “small the scoops are.” Translation: “we didn’t give you any, but here’s a prop.” That’s not customer service that’s laziness dressed up as policy. If that’s the level of leadership here, then maybe management training should start with a reminder that customers don’t come for excuses, they come for ice cream.
This DQ used to be a solid stop. Now it’s just a lesson in how to run a business into the ground: unprofessional staff, melted product, and management with more excuses than solutions. Save yourself the disappointment this location clearly doesn’t care anymore.
If I wanted melted ice cream and an argument, I would’ve stayed home and opened my freezer. But instead I will never get this time back, and WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. If you’re reading this neither should you…

I order 2 #1's and they brought the food out to me in record time. I knew something wasn't right. Sure enough, the patty was cold and the cheese wasn't even close to being melted. I ask the cashier if they make the burgers fresh and she stated that they make a bunch of patties when they open. Unbelievable!! Never coming here again.
