Very disappointing. I showed up 10 minutes before closing, and they refused to open the window. They didn’t even have the courtesy to let me know whether they were sold out or simply not serving anymore. He just stared at us through the window. Horrible customer service.

So rude !! I got there literally minutes before they closed & they shut the window on me. They do not close at the time they say they do. I literally knocked & the guy looked at me & ignored me kelp in kind it was NOT 7 yet.

This place is unpredictable because I had to drive 30 minutes just to find out they are closed, more than twice when Google time shows they are open. I love their Dipping Dots and it's a great place to shop around but I'm definitely not happy with their unstable schedule. The last time I waited more than an hour and it's still closed when it's supposed to be open until 6pm.

Closed an hour before the posted hours and didn’t leave out a sign out for when they’d be back. We waited until closing and no one ever showed up. I love ice cream and this was sad. :(
If I could give this place a 0 star review, this would be it. We waited an hour walking around in the heat to kill time for the employee to return from their lunch break, but they never returned at the supposedly return time. Never ever got our dippin’ dots. What a disappointment. Unrealistic hours and unreliable staff.

Frustrated and disappointed. If the hours are posted on the official Dippin Dots website, and the outlet mall’s website, they should be accurate. Breaks are understandable, but if the sign posts a return time and even that is not accurate? False advertising. Please open when advertised, or don’t advertise. Regretfully, a pregnant lady and her sad toddler.

We are actively working on minimizing the times that someone is unable to get some Dippin' Dots! We understand how infuriating it can be with how special Dippin' Dots is when we are not there when we say we should be. Again, barring when we have to temporarily close for the aforementioned circumstances, we are here to make sure you get that 5 star Dippin' Dot treat in beautiful San Marcos, Texas!
