Fair warning. All of the donuts I’ve tried here are great EXCEPT for the colorful donuts. They look great, smell great, but they taste awful like chemicals and leave a horrible aftertaste. I went here a few months ago and today. Same thing both times. I’ve never experienced this at any of other donut place. It’s only the colorful iced ones too.

So fast, so many options, and the girl up front was SO, SO NICE. Perfect pricing, as well. Such a great place for breakfast, especially if you’re wanting something fast, and for a lot of people. 10/10

This place blew my mind. The store itself is nothing special, but the croissant style kolaches and the apple fritters were amazing. And, it's half the price of other local places. Don't know how I missed this place!

It's been a while since tried this place. My husband got some donuts,apple fritters and sausage kolaches from here on Sunday.the donuts were mediocre, the sausage kolaches were cold and almost tasted like yesterdays and the apple fritters didn't taste as good as they used to be, didn't taste as fresh and were considerably smaller than we remembered. I don't know what oils they use to fry these in, but they were not great tasting. These fake oils are just no good for you. But, let's face it, they want the cheapest oil because that increases their profit margin but leaves the taste rather flat.

The doughnuts are fresh and made every morning, so it's a pleasure to eat them twice a week! There are plenty of equally delicious choices! I recommend this place. You can even order boxes for birthdays :D

Donut palace has a pretty good selection of what kind of donuts you like and also kolaches and croissants. I always like getting the sausage, egg and cheese croissant. They're big and very delicious. Good price for how big it is. Go get your next donuts here.

This is quite honestly the best place in San Marcos to get donuts, fresh kolaches and croissant breakfast sandwiches. I go here once every couple of weeks for the past several years and the food is always delicious and very income-friendly. Highly recommended!
