Ordered a a chicken fajita bowl but flies were all over the food,beans tasted sour and old swapped it for a baked potato which was cold , burnt, RUN !

Arrived at 7:15pm just to be told that they’re closed but there was still some food out then was told that the lobby was closed the two men working tonight 08-07-24 need new jobs. If you close at 7pm update your hours.

Waited 15 minutes in line just to be told they were out of everything when it was our turn. Guy behind the counter was either high or has a mental disability, I couldn't tell, and they left him all by himself to deal with a long line. How are you out of food when you're inside of a grocery store? Management must be on drugs.

Went by today 1- 6- 23 5:30 pm or so and I was craving fajita taco..So I come up and say I want a taco and the young guy name Rene E ..(name on receipt)yell real loud TACO we don't sell tacos here.I told him I had gotten one here in the past..He then said its never been and we don't make them here..I asked if there were tortillas here and he said yes..So I said grab one and put meat on it and charge me what you want..I was treated bad and embarrassed in front of my dad the way he laughed at me..I have never been treated like this here..I like coming here because the food is inexpensive and good..But I was laughed at so I probably won't be back..

I can imagine the food would be good if it was fresh, however, my food was taken from a warmer and the chicken was too overcooked to even chew, the charro beans were sour, like the onions in it had started to spoil. The jalepeños were so over cooked it was basically jalepeno puree inside of a jalepeno skin. Also, the chicken looked like table scraps, very mangled and dry. The service wasn’t much better. The girl “forgot my face” so I was standing around waiting when finally, someone who didnt take my order said “didn’t that guy order like 10 minutes ago?” Finally, I got my food, but Ihad asked for an extra jalepeno with the jalepeno and onions it comes with but she didn’t give me any jalepenos or onions. The seasonings were good though, and the rice was delicious. I threw the rest away though. Definitely don’t eat here unless you are sure the food is fresh, otherwise its a waste of money.

I love stopping by this place on my way out of HEB! It's so convenient to have hot food that is delicious and filling right inside the store so I don't have to stop anywhere else.My family has had the 1/4 chicken plate with sides and it was delish!My fav dish is the Build Your Own Bowl with sausage! Yum!Definitely will be back!

This is the best grocery store in town. Definitely try going early Sunday morning, the shelves are typically freshly stocked with almost no one in the store.
