Guy behind the counter was either high or has a mental disability, I couldn't tell, and they left him all by himself to deal with a long line. How are you out of food when you're inside of a grocery store? Management must be on drugs.

Went by today 1- 6- 23 5:30 pm or so and I was craving fajita taco..So I come up and say I want a taco and the young guy name Rene E ..(name on receipt)yell real loud TACO we don't sell tacos here.I told him I had gotten one here in the past..He then said its never been and we don't make them here..I asked if there were tortillas here and he said yes..So I said grab one and put meat on it and charge me what you want..I was treated bad and embarrassed in front of my dad the way he laughed at me..I have never been treated like this here..I like coming here because the food is inexpensive and good..But I was laughed at so I probably won't be back..

I can imagine the food would be good if it was fresh, however, my food was taken from a warmer and the chicken was too overcooked to even chew, the charro beans were sour, like the onions in it had started to spoil. The jalepeños were so over cooked it was basically jalepeno puree inside of a jalepeno skin. Also, the chicken looked like table scraps, very mangled and dry. The service wasn’t much better. The girl “forgot my face” so I was standing around waiting when finally, someone who didnt take my order said “didn’t that guy order like 10 minutes ago?” Finally, I got my food, but Ihad asked for an extra jalepeno with the jalepeno and onions it comes with but she didn’t give me any jalepenos or onions. The seasonings were good though, and the rice was delicious. I threw the rest away though. Definitely don’t eat here unless you are sure the food is fresh, otherwise its a waste of money.

I love stopping by this place on my way out of HEB! It's so convenient to have hot food that is delicious and filling right inside the store so I don't have to stop anywhere else.My family has had the 1/4 chicken plate with sides and it was delish!My fav dish is the Build Your Own Bowl with sausage! Yum!Definitely will be back!
Food here is great, but every single time I come here they are out of sides. I do not understand why they have so much trouble refilling the sides when they need them. Don't know if they need new employees or new management but it's honestly ridiculous.

Hell yes. $4.99 bowls and on Thursdays they are $4! This place can't compare to chipotle, chipotle is actually nasty af. But this place *kiss my fingers like an italian* f****** yum. I haven't tried everything else on the menu, but you can taste the freshness of the ingredients in the food, I mean obviously it's HEB product.
