I had been trying to get a cake for my boyfriend and went for 3 days in a row, would wait around for almost 10 minutes and no one was ever there to help. Went again and had to sit there and wait for someone to help me when everyone saw me there waiting trying to get someone’s attention. The cake they had was all cracked and when I asked if they had anymore they said no. I had waited to get it because I wanted them to write happy birthday on it. she tried to write it in purple and it’s a red cake. I asked if she had red icing she then only offered other colors which was fine. Even with the broken cake and different color icing for the happy birthday I wasn’t even that upset. But then I look at it. This is probably the ugliest happy birthday i’ve ever seen written on a cake from a store. that was honestly the part that made me write this review. overall 1/10 experience as a whole.

Easy to order, you can also pick up a cake (or order through curbside) and have them add writing real quick which is awesome. Good flavors too, especially for a grocery store!!

I order some cup cakes for my grandson birthday party went to pick and could believe the icing they put on there it look like they did care and the cup cake tasted old out dated cup cake everyone was putting them in the trash and the birthday boy was stepping on them I was so upset heb bakery do better please

While I do like this Heb and do most of my shopping here, the last 4 or 5 times I've gone, I realized when putting the bags in the car that they had put raw meats in with other groceries. The first couple times I just chalked it up to them training a new batch of employees and the food safety might've just somehow slipped their minds, but it's becoming a persistent problem. I also had a friend mention they put cleaning chemicals in with food when bagging during one of her recent visits. Please go over cross contamination and food safety with the people bagging the food Heb! I'm not even that angry, I'm more concerned for the potential health risks involved

The french loaf is excellent but everything else in the bakery is subpar. Cakes are way overpriced. Walk down the baking aisle and buy what you need to make your own cake at home.

The people are very rude. They walk right in front of you with no manners and don’t say excuse me or pardon me. Disrespectful on so many levels. Prime example...H-E-B employee walks right in front of me and says not one word.
