Place is awful, bouncers & the owner treat people like garbage & feel like they can talk to anybody in anyway. Be careful if you come around this place & stay protected please. 1/5 stars. Never again

My favorite bar in the SQUARE*Reasoning: Service is immaculate; the owner, Sean; as well as Ben* have p it together a team of young college-aged workers who make the environment fun, saucy and SAFE. Tyler, Joe, Caleb, Isaiah, Shaine, McKinley & of course, the workhorse of the group: MARY BETH* Have made this a nostalgically-Local drop-in w/ the BEST VIEW of the city. 10/10 recommend!

Elis is one of the best bartenders I have ever met! Even while injured he was very nice and made great drinks. Others that work there like Ben and Johnny, were also great. Excellent service and very fast. Top tier pizza is also a plus- definitely recommend here to my friends!

Harpers is a staple bar on the Square. It’s located inside a really cool historic building. I love this place because they have such a cool laid-back staff and in their three floors of bars, you can literally find anything you are wanting to drink! Harper’s (on the first floor) is a great place to go to watch the games and hangout with the bartenders. They’re strict on IDs but that would be weird if they weren’t. I haven’t been able to try the pizza place, but I have heard really good things. Definitely come check this place out if you haven’t! There’s parking out front on the street.

The bartender with all the facial hair needs to re learn how to do ID’s. Came in with my girlfriend and another friend and he had no problem with my ID but for some reason needed to see a credit card or something with a name on it to accept their ID’s. My girlfriend gave her his debit card and we were paying for my friend so all he had was his ID and apparently that wasn’t good enough for him. He then accused us all of having fake ID’s even though we’re all over 25. I’ve literally never had another bar so this or act this way. Will never come back.

If I could leave zero stars I would. My boyfriend, bestfriend and I tried to stop for a beer, bartender came up to us asking for ID’s (mind you we are all over 25) he takes my boyfriends id and gave it back with no issue. But inspected mine and my bestfriends ID for minutes flipping back and forth as if it was fake. He said we did not look like our pictures so we had to present something else with our name? Apparently I don’t look like my height and we all had fake IDs. He wouldn’t let us stay. I will never be back.
