Food was incredible, like really good nachos and quesadillas and tacos. Delicious. Fast service. Lovely people. Turfing the playscape with padded turf would make it 10x safer and better. Right now, it is just non-level dirt. My non-walking child couldn't be let down to play/explore. The main dining area and bar/tv's seemed to be closed. Maybe still under renovation? Lots of mosquitos. Not sure if there is standing water that needs to be addressed. Despite all this, will be back for the food!

Very limited menu. Super small portions of food and expensive for what you get. They used to have in doors sitting but now (August 2023) they said it's only outdoors. Too hot sitting outside during summer for lunch and uncomfortable chairs.

You have no food in the house. You are too tired to cook and you just don't feel like going to the grocery store. So, here you are looking for PHENOMENAL food in the Four Points that's quick, affordable and delicious and you come across my review...Hubby and I found this gem of Latin Cuisine tucked away by H-E-B, Target and Luna Hair Salon. First things first, Tuesday-Friday from 4-6 pm is HAPPY HOUR and, get this, you get a free ground beef taco with every drink!Next, the burrito. It's a marvelous size, topped with fresh avocado, and oh so tasty!Tacos, holy moly, we tried them ALL on the corn tortilla. Steak fajita meat is juicy and flavorful (I'd def start there) and chicken next. Pastor is tasty and ranks a very close second. Ask for their spicy green sauce and mind blown.Service- attentive, kind, gracious, sweet, patient, from Richard!!!! Thank you for making our first experience awesome!Lastly, let's talk about cocktails, they have a FULL BAR! My Mexican martini "floweth" over and it was way better than ones we get from expensive restaurants (and half the price!)

The guacamole is simply delish. The ceviche is very fresh and straight forward and even better if you enjoy a delicious heat with the sauce. Get it on the side if you can’t handle spicy! The pupusas revueltas are homemade and downright yummy! Highly recommend this local gem! Cocktails were on point. Service was perfect and the price is surprisingly affordable. Please support them so they never leave this side of town!

Convenient and easy to order! You scan a QR code and order your food through the phone. Just be sure to have Apple Pay, because the website is a little weird if you have to manually type in your card.Otherwise, the gentleman who served us was so sweet! He was fast with all of our drinks and my entire family loved their food! Overall, great service and great food. I’ll definitely be coming here again whenever I’m in Austin!

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to dine at Kamal Restaurant, and I must say it was a highly disappointing experience. From start to finish, the restaurant failed to meet even the most basic expectations.First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unresponsive, leaving me waiting for extended periods just to get their attention. It was incredibly frustrating and made the overall dining experience feel unpleasant.Moving on to the food, it was a complete letdown. The menu boasted a variety of dishes, but the quality and taste were severely lacking. The dishes were bland and lacked any distinct flavors. It felt like the kitchen was either cutting corners or simply didn't know how to prepare the food properly.Furthermore, the portions were disappointingly small for the price. I left the restaurant feeling hungry and unsatisfied. It's disheartening to pay a hefty bill only to leave hungry and disappointed with the overall experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was another letdown. The atmosphere felt dull and uninspiring. The interior lacked character and seemed outdated. The lack of effort put into creating a welcoming environment contributed to the overall negative experience.Overall, I cannot recommend Kamal Restaurant based on my visit. The poor service, lackluster food, and underwhelming ambiance left me thoroughly disappointed. There are far better dining options available, and I suggest exploring those instead. As for other poor reviews and what I have seen from the owner lashing out at them. You may make several dishes and supposedly make everything from scratch daily. It’s better to be good with a few dishes that have the vibrant flavor expected from Latin America than to be mediocre at best with bland food.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDThe food was well cooked and tasted great. Awesome drink menu.Honestly, though, what makes the experience great is the staff they have making sure everyone is ok and has what they need.I’m a taco lover and for me the al Pastor Tacos are the best, and don’t mention the salsa, is delicious, my kids fell in love with the pupusas and horchata.Everything was tasty ?You definitely should skip breakfast or lunch before you go so you get to try a little bit of everything.
