Six tacos $38.00, rubber tortillas, they don't even make their own tortillas,definitely not home cooking, small tacos for the price,for mexican cooks they suck. This place has gone down hill, in san antonio I would not mind paying this amount,you get bigger,fatter tacos. Trust me when a mexican posts bad reviews about mexican food,they are not lying,take my advise and rum for the hills.

I spent 5 days in San Marcos and this restaurant had the best food I’ve ever had. My niece that goes to college in San Mo agreed with me too. After reading many reviews and contemplating which place I'd grab tacos at this morning I chose Los Vega. They did NOT disappoint! My server was attentive and quick, also kind and respectful. I sat on the patio which was peaceful and perfect this morning and ordered potato and egg breakfast tacos. They came out so quickly I was surprised! The tortillas were fresh and delicious. The egg wasn't too thick on the taco which I liked alot. The ratio of potato and egg was on point. The potatoes were tasty and had a bit of a crunch on them but not in a burnt or undercooked kind of way. The green salsa was BUSSIN! Overall this was a great place to grab QUICK BREAKFAST on the go or if you just wanted to relax and enjoy your meal. Super affordable! I'll DEFINITELY be back!

This a wonderful and quaint little Texmex restaurant.We thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast menu on Labor Day 2023. JP ordered the Huevos Rancheros plate with bacon. I ordered the mushroom and spinach omelet plate (my spinach was a little overcooked). We split two pancakes. ? ?As you can tell from the pictures, the portion sizes were more than adequate for a hungry person, so be prepared.We hope you'll enjoy this small and tucked away little restaurant by Texas State University, San Marcos, TX.The reason I give it four stars is because of my spinach and the bathroom.

Just, terrible food. I have no idea why this place is still open, I got a torta and it was mostly bread and a spread of beans, meat that tastes like nothing; the fries were good I guess but that's super simple to make. The enchiladas, I have no idea what kind they are but they looked really weird, bland, that's the word for it. I am hungover right now but whoever rated this place 4 1/2 stars, must be smoking enough angel dust to kill a horse. Obviously you know nothing of authentic Mexican food, whoever is cooking this food is fond of the microwave, I do not recommend, besides the fact it's overly priced, it's just not even good.
