I've been dining at McAllister's for the past four years since residing in San Marcos. Anytime I have a salad and sandwich craving I make a beeline to McAllister's. No complaints with the quality of food although I've only had just a few items.Yesterday, I decided to switch things up from my usual -- Savannah Salad and the massive club sandwich always with cucumber tomato salad. Instead, I went with Southwest Chicken salad and Spicy Turkey melt with potato salad.I don't know if there was something in the air that afternoon, but I swear I was in salad and sandwich bliss!!! I could not get over all the wonderful flavours my palate was experiencing. The salad was incredible with the dressing that is recommended. And something about the bread the sandwich was made with had this incredible sweet aftertaste. As a massive potato person, I especially love potato salad. Kartoffelsalat being among my top favourite. I just finished off the McAllister potato salad and felt so inclined to write about it; it is that damn good!!! I am tempted to see if they can prepare a special order for me personally so that I can have it at home for a minute. I can no longer consume HEB potato salad.Anyhow, I am sitting here still happily gnoshing away at the salad and sandwich. How can something so simple make me so happy? I highly recommend these items.I hope there is a McAllister's in Houston as I am moving in a few weeks. That is all.

Absolutely loved it. Manager Brandon took care of me and was very helpful. It was my first time dining here and he was great. Brandon had lots of patience and assured my sandwich was well made. It was delicious! Give him a raise!

Got a sandwich the McAlister's Club and I let them know no tomatoes because I'm Highly allergic, and they still put the tomatoes on it. When I got home and realized that there was a tomato on it. It was too late. I had to take 4 Benadryl and call my doctor to help. To help the swelling in my mouth and face. Your managers Brandon and Shelbi didn't care and just sent me on my way. I took a picture of the sandwiches and the tickets that showed no tomatoes, and a picture of my face. They still didn't care. I feel you guys need to do something about what just happened to me. So, to add to this I talk the area manager Gilbert about what happened to me, and he said that he would send my info to their legal team. I was never contacted by anyone after talking to him. So, now they are avoiding my phone calls and emails. This is not how you run a company or a business.

I wanted the Ruben, but for some reason they don't know it's suppose to be grilled not just thrown in the oven. The young lady suggested the turkey crunch and it was very good. Service and ambiance was good,

Stopped in to have lunch with my sons and mom. The attendant, who my sons thought looked oddly like post Malone, was super friendly and patient. The lobby was a dry cool which was very refreshing considering how hot it was in San Marcos. The vibe was a relaxing modern with a college vibe. Mom tried their Italian with a side of potato salad. Boys had the Reuben and the hot and spicy club. I had the angus club. Which was amazing. Beef was expertly prepared. Paired with a side of tomato and cucumber salad was an excellent choice providing a refreshing delicacy opposite the savory angus. A very enjoyable impromptu lunch option
