Stopped in for a beer while waiting for tacos. Ended up staying for a few hours. The vibe is strong with this one: good beer, nice tables and atmosphere, dog friendly, and super cool bartender (Charlie?).
We had our first visit about a year ago and were really impressed with the place. We found several beers that we really liked. We made it a point to come back yesterday. I don't know what happened but the beers were quite different. We tried them all in flights and only kind of liked the porter. The IPAs were quite disappointing. Didn't find one worth ordering a pint. Did the brewmeister change? It is a nice venue and the music was a nice plus.
They serve great beer that is made in house. I think it's the best brewery in the San Marcos area. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Drink the beer there or take it to go. Go check them out! They also have special events.
