Mile High Mo's - First Class Food

During my late night drive back to Austin, I stopped at this restaurant due to extreme hunger. The food was outstanding, and the service was impressive. We had the Mile Philly Steak, which was expertly seasoned. I highly recommend this establishment for individuals seeking a quality late night dining experience.

HECK YESSSS... WE DEFINATELY RECOMMEND!! The food, the staff, the atmosphere.... THE FOOD!! Lol. Can't say it enough...ABSOLUTELY, AMAZING! Great experience all the way through!!

We first saw mo’s on IG when a foodie had posted about trying out the cheesesteaks in Austin. To be honest we haven’t been super big on cheesesteaks, but the burgers they featured is what originally caught our eye. We also really liked the name and found out that they import their bread and meat steak from Philly and poutine for their fries from Quebec Canada which is super cool and also made us want to try the cheesesteaks and fries just because of that! We got the fully loaded Steak Philly (1/2 mile) which was about 6-7 inches and it was soooooo much better and more flavorful then the one we had when we were in philly! The seasonings that they use on the meat gives it such a greater depth of flavor! The burgers were also as expected… DELICIOUS!! We got the full mile on both, which meant we had 9oz of black angus beef (2 4.5oz patties). We tried the bacon bomber which was like a sweet and savory bacon egg burger and we also tried the cheese coma which had a katsu style cheese aka deep fried cheese on the burger. We we so impressed with the flavorings of the meat itself! You could literally taste the quality. The fries they have are some of THE BEST we’ve had! We really enjoy a crispy fry and these were double fried giving you that perfect texture! The portions that they give are very generous and they live up to the name that they go the extra mile with first class food! Plus we couldn’t skip on dessert! The Texas tornado is exactly that…. A whirl wind of wonder that will twist the taste buds in every direction! Its basically funnel cake fries, topped with cheesecake bites, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. If you haven’t checked them out, stop waiting and GO!!! They are 100000% worth the trip and the calories!

Went super late just for a quick meal but fell in love. The cheesesteak was amazing as well as the fries and onion rings. While the food was good service was even better. The 2 guys working there were super helpful and friendly. We were so close to coming back for a second day but had to go home. Overall food and service is fantastic!!!!

Burger is too messy, everything sliding out. The flavor is good but not what we expected. The chicken strips are similar to dairy queen IMO, nothing worth the price tag, but we could see how this would be amazing after a night on the square. The onion rings were the best thing we ordered, excellent execution there. Poutine was a soggy mess, not sure if it would have been different enjoying in the restaurant versus take out.

We stopped in for a late lunch. The guys working behind the counter were fun, informed and happily working.
They recommended food for us based on asking us questions. I got the smash burger with chilly cheese fries and my friend got mile high Philly with onion rings.
Both were delicious and more food than we could eat.
We will be back!!

I love going to mo's especially for the onion rings!! but overall everything is delicious ! Always a good convo with Sam while my food is being made. Never a bad experience when stopping by, all my friends love it here!

funny... they are on marther luther king jr drive but seem like theyre racist. have terrible attitudes working the night shift and need to be fired.. manager should rethink who they hire.. food isnt worth the poor service

I want to think that maybe I came in when they were having a bad day. Hey I get it we all have bad days and sometimes tend to bring that to work. Food was delicious. Service on the hand was not great. No common courtesy at all or even felt a bit of customer appreciation. After all you do want your customers to see that you are happy to see them supporting your business. Told them to have a great day and did not get a response in return. Great first impression. I wish your business the best of success. Food on the other hand - mama mia - delicioso!
