Nephews is one of our regular spots! We end our night here, it’s usually fine. This dirty blonde bartender was extremely rude, pushed my friend and tried to get us kicked out after my friend asked her to say “excuse me” when SHE pushed her. She said she was going to get us kicked out and flicked us off after. Extremely unprofessional. A simple excuse me from a “staff member” goes a long way. We get it’s always packed but there was no need. She called one of the security guards to kick us out and he also did not hear anyone out and said we’d be “dragged out” after we tried to explain. My friend asked to speak to the manager and he was actually very professional and let us stay after hearing us out. Nephews really needs to get their staff in check because we aren’t the first ones to have this issue. That girl needs to go and for clarification she was in a cheetah or brown top with another blonde girl. Some people do not need to be employed.

The newer blonde bartender Alex should not be employed. Not only does she have no idea what she's doing, she's incredibly rude, rolls her eyes at paying customers and is incredibly immature. Interacting with her ruined my experience at Nephews and I will not be coming back.

Cool vibe, good music, and always packed. Perfect spot if you’re looking to party in San Marcos.
Drinks are decently priced and the place has a lot of space, though it can get super crowded.
If you’re visiting or a student, it’s definitely worth checking out at least once.

Lights and photo ops are cool. Drink was horrible, didn't stir whatsoever. Bartender was rude and very unwelcoming. $1 charge on all card purchases and was lectured to bring cash to bars. Not friendly or good drinks.
Liked the club! It was super packed! Music was decent! Drinks were good! People were very rude!.Someone slapped one of my friends in the back of the head but it was so packed we didn't know who did it. I went to the ladies room and two people just jumped on front of me without even acknowledging me at all! Alot of disrespectful college kids and drinking. Alot of the people didn't have any respect what so ever.. you really have to hold your tempwe while there.. but we did like the club over all.. may visit from time to time but it won't because a normal.
