Food was outstanding. Relatively fast, very tasty and well-prepared. Service staff was attentive and super nice. Eating area was clean and well-kept. Rogelio's is a little hard to find, but well worth looking for.

I really wanted to like this place... 5pm visit: 1. Had to wipe down my table and there was only one other table so they were not busy. 2. I requested the Happy Hour street tacos ($3.00) but instead got a taco plate ($12.00). 3. Portion size was small. Other places in town offer more for less 4. Ordered desert ($6.00) and it was topped with cream. The menu is not descriptive. I am allergic to dairy. 5. Had to ask for napkins and a fork. 6. A water refill was not offered. Needless to say, it's an unlikely chance that I will not be back, unfortunate.

The queso birria tacos are amazing! They also have them on happy hour 3-7 for only $3!

This place food was amazing and service over the top. I'm from the Brownsville and I'm very picky and I can honestly say it's the Togo place for margaritas and authentic Mexican food!! Soo good!

We made a special trip to San Marcos just because we were craving some Rogelio's! I have loved the food since I was in college over 20 years ago, and it is still unbeatable. My kids are hooked, now, too!
We were on vacation for the weekend and wanted some authentic Mexican food. We also wanted a small local place not a chain. This was the best Mexican food we have had in a long time. Wish it was closer to home.

We are starting to venture a bit south in search of our Mex/Tex Mex cravings. This was a decent find to say the least. Service was really friendly, place was older but clean. The bottled sauces were good, green being my favorite. The queso was better with some of the red salsa added. We start with our norms...Wife Beef Chiladas with double rice....which was very good...rice was fresh and light as well. I went with the Chicken with the green sauce, which was excellent...Beans were good to. Our only downside wason both dishes the food was just "warm" other then that pretty sold joint.

This is my favorite place to order menudo, quesa birria and barbacoa tacos. A great spot to go for breakfast or happy hour. My family always craves Rogelio’s.
A great family run restaurant. My wife got the migas and tortilla soup and they both were fantastic. I got the mole chicken enchiladas and they were also wonderful. My son got the carne quisada plate and he loved it. Service was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely come back whenever we are in the area.
Best fajita salad I've ever had. Great place to unwind, relax after a long day of work. Awesome customer service.
