We recently moved to San Marcos and visited Roughhouse Brewing for the first time on Friday evening. On a map, it seemed a lift to get there, but it was less than 20 minutes and an easy drive from our house in South San Marcos - glad we finally did it! This is a beautiful property and building. The staff was friendly and let us try plenty of beer samples before deciding. The beer is quality, and I appreciate they have some wine selections for someone who isn't a beer...
This place won us over with the food paired with the spectacular Ales and Pilsners. The nachos are the best in the region. There's plenty of space and the service is always fast. Great selection of beer to go and the artists on their packaging are phenomenal.
I dropped by to check out the comedy show that was being hosted last night. My friend and I had a great time. This is definitely a great spot to hangout and catch up with friends. Beers were amazing and I will be back soon!
