Got a bean and cheese taco that was not worth the $5, so tiny and flavorless. Also got a sugar cookie latte that tasted like pure espresso with a teaspoon of milk, just awful. I wanted to love this place but this is the third time ordering and the drinks are simply just bad, the time before the espresso tasted burnt.

The espresso was a bit too acidic for me last time, so this time the barista helpfully suggested trying the Nitro. Definitely a good suggestion! Still highly caffeinated with good flavor and much much smoother and easier on the stomach! I also enjoy that they have a couple of gluten free pastry options like donuts and cookies 🤤 Black Nitro Cold Brew + Gluten Free Cookie = 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Barista was not very welcoming nor friendly when taking the order. I felt rushed, had an attitude and kept cutting me off. She would ask me questions that I already said. I asked for lavender cold foam as the other locations I normally go to still serve it & she replied “uhm that’s a summer thing, it’s not summer anymore, it’s fall now”. When I pressed the print receipt option, I waited & she came back over stared at me blankly & then said “did you need something” I asked for the receipt & she grabbed it & stared at the receipt for a good 5 seconds & then handed it to me & walked away. Overall just an unpleasant vibe.

My favorite coffee shop. Great staff and atmosphere. A perfect place to chill with a few friends on a weekday.
We drive the extra distance to Summer Moon mainly for the pastry. They have good coffee and great atmosphere but we prefer the craft coffee of Lamppost. Recently Summer Moon changed the vendor of their pastry and now the pastry is mediocre in our opinion. Too bad. It's not worth the extra miles anymore.

I love Summer Moon but they have recently changed their pastry selection and the quality is not nearly the same as before. Specifically the chocolate croissant and the plain croissant. I understand wanting to try something new, but this is a downgrade. The original croissant used to be rolled up like a cinnamon roll and the best part was getting to the soft center. Now it's just a plain croissant you could purchase in the grocery store. The chocolate croissant used to be my husband's favorite - the chocolate would gush out on the first bite. On this most recent visit it was flat and barely had any chocolate. The lattes and atmosphere are great...but we have a few other places we can go (Lampost and The Fairview). We choose Summer Moon because of the pastries. Now...nothing to separate it from the others. Hoping this feedback helps bring back the original!
I tried the Winter Moon Iced Latte and all I have to say is that the standard of good coffee has definitely lowered, I was recommended to go here but to my unfortunate surprise my tastebuds were immediately rejecting the taste of hand sanitizer and milk in my supposed coffee. Would not go again.

I don't know why people say it's the best coffee when you only have milk and sugar, no coffee. 🤣 The chocolate chip cookie is meh , the ones at the gas station are much better.
