We have been searching for authentic Neapolitan pizza since we visited Italy…and this is it! It was fantastic. You can tell it’s amazing quality & the churro ice cream is phenomenal as well. The owner is so very kind and genuine, this will be our go to for pizza no doubt!

This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. I've been to Italy numerous times, trying all styles of pizza. If you like neopolitan, thin crust style pizza, this is it. Hand/Home made dough from EVOO, quality ingredients, and a churro ice cream to die for is well deserving of the 4.9 🌟 they have. The staff is always friendly, making conversation and being very welcoming. We've been at least 4 times in the 3 months we've been here, and we will continue to visit. The ranch (which i would honestly drink by the bottle), pesto, and other sauces they offer are homemade and fantastic!

Superb pizza! The closest thing to Italian Pizza I’ve had outside of Italy. Their crust is the real deal.

Super friendly owners and a very nice space. There is an outdoor a shaded area for seating, as well.

And the only (AFAIK) churro soft serve ice cream in town. Amazing!

This is a HIDDEN GEM in San Marcos! The pizza was so delicious that we ended up ordering a second pie, the churro ice cream was very good and creamy.

The place is spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. Service was great, I Highly recommend this restaurant.

Actual great original food! Finally! Not a franchise restaurant like every restaurant here in San Marcos. These gentlemen understand food, hospitality, grit and flavor. Love seeing people thrive and do well. If you appreciate beer, they have a good selection and ask for a cold glass. If you one star this place, go back to eating your franchise food and stay away from original restaurants, please. Keep up the great work gents!

Very great place for some great pizza.

So don't get me wrong, pizza was good, but they shouldn't have a tip jar or ask for tips. I assumed with the cost of everything that drinks would be brought to us and they didn't point out to grab yourself. Then when we were done eating they asked us to clean the table ourselves. This would have been fine BUT for the amount youre spending and the fact they are openly asking for tips doesn't make any sense. Since you pay up front its not obvious that once you've paid that will be the extent of your service.

Wowza! My partner and I stumbled on Sylvia Pizza during a spontaneous trip to San Marcos. This place is incredible. Crust is perfectly airy but chewy and oven fired to perfection. We had the Queen and Cheezy Dream and both were perfectly sauced and cheesed. I don’t usually go for white sauce pizzas because I find them too heavy, but this was not the cause for the Cheezy Dream. Sauce and cheese were enough to be deliciously decadent without overpowering the crust. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu. We are from Austin, there are a lot of great pizza places there, but this was exceptional and definitely worth the trip.
Also, the vibe of the place is lovely. Super friendly staff and chefs, and the place is clean and simple. Perfect for a casual date or friend hang. Oh, and THE ICE CREAM!!!! We were too full to order a whole serving, but they offered us a sample and the ice cream alone makes this place worth the trip. The ranch dressing as well as probably the best I’ve ever had!! Both are also made in house and is a testament to the talent of that kitchen.
Finding Sylvia Pizza was truly a delight and we will be coming back with friends soon!
