WAS an awesome place before they fired a bunch of great staff members and stopped hosting one of the best events in town.

Used to be a fun, inclusive space. Now? Nothing special, not worth a visit. Food & drinks are forgettable at best.

Terminating queer employees and cancelling drag events with unethical methods exemplifies the type of leadership we don't want in our community.

Been going here for a while, so I know everyone's mad about the changes. The staff is friendly and tries to upsell liquor. Overall, the quality is similar, but the pours seem to have changed from a double to a single, while the prices have stayed the same. Davenport is expensive, and the menu is huge, so wait times are long. The drinks are good but not at their current price point. The food is hit or miss. Sometimes there are freshly cooked items, other times it's just pre-packaged snacks that are $10. Overall, some drinks are really good, but be ready to open up that wallet.

This business was such a safe haven for the LGBTQIA community of Hays County. Learning that the owner decided to cease drag brunch AND coincidentally fire the bartenders that are also a part of that community was an incredible disappointment.
And the reason for this decision? “It’s just business.”
Thats not business. Thats nothing less than despicable.
I will not be supporting this business any further. I advise anyone with sound morals to do the same.

Used to love this place, but the cancellation of drag brunch is a disappointing move and a real slap in the face for a group of people that have supported this business at every step with our time, money, and recommendations. No longer.

Only went for a brunch of drag. Now that's over no need to go back. Seems like it was the owners issue.
Edit: They fired all of their queer staff due to "morals" yeah seems like the only immoral one is the owner and whoever else allowed this to happen. Take the drag brunch off y'all's insta highlight and stop profiting off of queer people since you don't support them.
Gay bar turned homophobic
I would give more stars if I could. Kelsi was a phenomenal bartender, host. She kept us laughing, comfortable , and rofl. I was hesitant to come because a not so gentleman arturo had put me off to this place but I thought hey Jojo and Sam might be there let’s give it a shot. I was not disappointed by giving them a second chance. Drinks were on point and environment was lit and mind you for a few moments it was only us three. I would come back just to buy drinks from Kelsi.

I came in after a few months cause I thought why not I might see Jojo and Sam, I previously had a bad experience with one particular person whom I will not mention ….it starts with A ends with o and rhymes with barturo lol even though Jo Jo and Sam were not here this time, KELSI WAS!!!! this beautiful, charismatic and confident vibrant woman was a breathe of fresh air …… great service and very knowledgeable on her drinks. I am forever a customer.
