I recently began visiting The Native Blends for my matcha lattes, and they are the best I've ever tasted. Unlike many coffee and smoothie places, their lattes are organic and unsweetened. The menu features a fantastic selection of healthy bowls, beverages, and smoothies. Additionally, Bella the Baker offers a variety of organic baked goods that I've tried and found consistently delicious. I highly recommend stopping by this fantastic spot in downtown San Marcos!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Native Blends in San Marcos today! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was spot on—warm, inviting, and full of positive energy. The shop is beautifully set up with a sleek espresso machine and a comfy bar area that’s perfect for hanging out, whether you’re grabbing a quick drink or chilling for a bit. I ordered The Rattler smoothie, and wow, it was delicious! I added grass-fed whey protein and creatine, which took it to the next level—super refreshing, packed with flavor, and left me feeling energized. The quality of the ingredients really shines through. What made it even better was Elmer, the shop attendant. He took the time to chat with me, offered great recommendations, and provided some of the best customer service I’ve encountered in a long time. Genuinely friendly and knowledgeable—kudos to him! The other guests there were all super nice too, creating this awesome, community-like atmosphere. It’s rare to find a spot that feels this welcoming. If you’re in San Marcos and looking for top-notch smoothies, coffee, or just a great hangout, do yourself a favor and check out The Native Blends. I’ll definitely be back soon! 5 stars all the way!

Stopped into Native Blends today and loved it!
My family stayed in the car while I ran in — Elmer, the owner, was setting up chairs, but he immediately paused to take my order. Even when I told him there was no rush, he was attentive, kind, and ready to help. Super polite and easy to talk to.
Ordered three smoothies — the Blind Sally was a big hit with my husband and son (sweet, fresh, and flavorful). I had the Aquarena, which was nice and tart and exactly what I wanted. Everything tasted very fresh.
The shop is clean, well kept, and has a cool, youthful vibe with some clothing and items to look through. We chatted briefly about my neighbor who recommended the place and their bowls — I’ll definitely be back with the kiddos to try those!
Great experience overall. Friendly owner, quality smoothies, and a spot definitely worth supporting!

A great community focused owner-operator business! This is another place that is real, local, and unique with people that care about their quality and how folks are treated. I started out getting acai bowls occasionally and now also get nice coffee drinks as well (in-house made syrups etc). Skip the chains and places where people don't really care.

Such a chill place! The atmosphere here inspires some really high vibe creativity and innovation. Elmer the business owner is wise beyond his years and dropped some very powerful business advice for me while I was there. I was so grateful for the conversation and you can sense the amazing energy he puts into everything he does. Not to mention the vanilla lavender iced coffee was so great!! It's people and places like these that make living life the best 💜🪻

Got a muffin and a cappuccino. The muffin was really good. The cappuccino was served way too hot, and it was too small, probably only about 5 oz. They charged the 3% credit card fee, but it is not posted or mentioned anywhere in the store. I chose my tip amount based on the total presented to me so that it would come out to an even dollar amount, but they added the 3% fee on AFTER that, so it didn't even work. Atmosphere seems kind of pretentious. Don't think I would go back again.
