Solid coffee spot with a good atmosphere. My hot chocolate was delicious, and it was a good place to get some work done. However, the $5 credit card minimum was off-putting (it would have been nice to know about it in advance), the cookie I purchased to get above the limit was dry and lacked flavor. I know a lot of people love this place, but it won't be my go to.
I'm not from San marcos, so I picked this coffee house solely based on proximity. I am glad I did. The walls are decorated with really cool portraits of musicians by a local (I presume) artist. There is an outside area to bring your dog if you like. I didnt catch the barista's name, but she was very friendly and fast. I will be going the next time im in San marcos.
Very cool spot with lots of drinks, pastries, oatmeal, and breakfast tacos. Super cool spot with unique art. Some private dining rooms. They even had board games you could play. Great coffee and tea!
