Tried the beer sampler and 4 of the 8 were undrinkable. Tasted like they had gone sour or expired. I'm from Wisconsin and never met a beer I couldn't finish ? very disappointing! Fried okra was pretty good and fried pickles were decent, fried mushrooms I would not recommend. Restaurant area was not clean, sticky table and floor, trash left out on other tables.

We came in a half hour before closing because the listing in maps told us they would be open for another hour and a half, but anyway... They served us promptly our food was delicious the service was friendly and with the exception of the thunderstorm that briefly blew threw the atmosphere was very nice. We are new to the area and we can assure you that D's will be one of our regular go tos.

This is a hidden gem if you need a place to eat heading to the Hill Country. We searched TripAdvisor in San Saba as we were driving through for a place with variety of food for kids and beer for parents. The food far exceeded expectations and microbrew was good. Kids have already asked to come back.

We were in San Saba with our RV group. Decided to try this place out. Was greeted & told to pick a table. Place was not busy at all. Hubby ordered the beer flight. They were out of 3 of them so they adjusted the price. He was not impressed at all. Said they all tasted the same with the exception of the jalapeno one. Said after he ordered he noticed all the "locals" were drinking bottled beer & that should've told him something. I ordered their Root Beet & I did enjoy it. Food was pretty good. I like that they have a kid/senior items. I got the senior Steak Fingers & it came with 3 good size pieces along with gravy & FF. Some of the best Steak Fingers I have had at a resturant. Hubby got a burger. It was pretty good also. We agreed we would go back, but just for the food.

I’m still thinking about how good the food was here when I really went to try their beers. Our server was super friendly and made some great choices for food. We had the stuffed peppers, stuffed avocado, and the spicy chicken. We left not one bite on our plates it was so good. They make their own homemade queso and it’s delicious. I didn’t know what type of beer to have since they had so many choices so our server brought me a couple of samples she thought I’d like. The honey wheat was fantastic! So happy we chose to go here on our visit to San Saba.

A very nice surprise finding this place. The server was so sweet. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name to give her credit. Ordered a glass of a Texas wine that was very good. The steak finger basket is a chicken fried steak cut in strips and served with fries and gravy. Very delicious l. The combo sandwich sounds like a club, but it's not. It's like a hot grilled sandwich with ham, turkey and bacon. Yummy! If you're in the area, definitely worth giving them a try. Also, they have a motel behind the restaurant. Oh yeah, they have some craft beers too.

While driving to Midland for Thanksgiving, we pulled up Yelp and boy! Did y'all lead us to the right place!!! Ice cold Miller lite for me and a beer flight for my husband and son (not a bad one in their opinion!) it's truly a family run establishment w the owner's daughter waiting on us w a happy, helpful spirit and a beautiful smile. Our food was delivered quickly and so yummy! I loved the charming, rustic ambiance, too!

Hidden gem with delicious food, friendly staff and excellent service! As an added bonus they have Gluten Free options which are often hard to find. Will definitely be returning in the future.

The food was great but the home brews… were rough! Craft brew is not their forte!

This was the worse experience. Took a long time for food. The girl behind the bar had no idea what was going on seemed like. They weren’t even that busy. Maybe 3 tables. I called my order in to take out and still waited for another 15-20min. $20 later for a cheap ingredient sandwich that my kid could have made better, and stale chips w/ drink was what I waited for! How are they even able to charge so much for such horrible product??!! No way! Will not be going back or ordering from them. Not to mention how hot it was in there and dirty! Just dirty. Everything you looked at, looked like it had a pile of dust on it. Don’t matter which direction you looked. Even the kitchen door and from what you could see was just dirty. Didn’t even try! Paid my money, left, threw food in the trash. Don’t look in that kitchen window if you want to eat your overpriced meal. You won’t do it! I guess you can get away with anything in small towns like this.. not recommended..

I could've easily passed this place up but curiosity got the better of me and took a peek in. Surprisingly on the menu as a lettuce wrap which I would not have suspected in this town. It was light tasty and the lettuce leaves were big and plentiful and easily wrapped the ingredients. Clean tables were again modest and clean.
