I've been coming to this restaurant since they were located on Martin back in the '80s they moved over on commerce and Smith and they're the only place in San Antonio I know where I can get my tacos at 5:30 in the morning. Family owned great service my favorite Taco is the potato and egg but you can't see the egg delicious. I recommend this place to anybody that loves tacos at 5:30 in the morning nice and fresh.

This is a local spot in every aspect of the definition. Its close to downtown, but don't except any of the high-end or touristy-focused accommodations or visuals. This location has super friendly staff, clean dining room and DELICIOUS TACOS. I stop in on occasion, after church down the street; Zarzamora/Martin had a lot of selection but for tacos this place it is for me. The selection is great and the serving line goes fast. However, there's only 1 register and this can get backed up. No point in getting your food fast if you can't pay and eat it. That's my only gripe. Always enjoy the barbacoa and carne guisada. Both are meaty and don't cut quality with fatty cuts.

Servers don't wear gloves when preparing tacos. This is unsanitary. Needless to say I did not eat there once I saw how they handled the food.

Tacos are good but the guy on cash register is a sneaky one with you change after you pay keep an eye on your money, change! He has been doing it for years. I caught him doing it to me.

Best tacos in San Antonio no doubt. My father used to take me there when I was young and now I take my family there as well. They love the potato and egg. Like no other you have ever tasted. You have to try it to experience it. The Lady's are great and get you in and out of there quickly. My personal favorite is the country sausage, a little spicy but delicious. The owner is very nice as well and always around.
