My husband and I were passing through and decided to check out the sandwich shop. My sprout sandwich and the chicken salad was delicious. I also enjoyed shopping in the gift shop and picked up some great Christmas presents for friends. Will definitely stop by the next time we are in the area.

My wife and I discovered this place a few years back. Great spot, lots of offerings, plus it has lots of preserves, pecans, etc. Drinks and food always good here.

Absolutely lovely inside but my chai latte had milk so spoiled that I don’t understand how nobody smelled it when making it and the worker nuked my cinnamon laden roll so much that after it cooled off it was so tough that it was impossible to tear and my dog wouldn’t even eat it—and the extreme excess of cinnamon made it akin to attempting to eat a dust covered water hose. I always want to support local coffee shops, but in towns where there’s no competition it can sometimes feel like quality control goes by the wayside.

Best coffee in San Saba!! Staff was very friendly. If you're having withdrawals from "big city", this place will satisfy that feeling. Food was fresh and filling. Loved the open concept of the restaurant
excellent customer service and good food! enjoyed their seasonal sandwich and made myself an arnold palmer to drink. their pecan selection is varied and tasty! treated myself to some pecan oil (fascinating) and some clove honey! have enjoyed lunch here before and will return again.food is good; people working there are kind, patient, and attentive; nice atmosphere; good pecan selection.
