excellent customer service and good food! enjoyed their seasonal sandwich and made myself an arnold palmer to drink. their pecan selection is varied and tasty! treated myself to some pecan oil (fascinating) and some clove honey! have enjoyed lunch here before and will return again.food is good; people working there are kind, patient, and attentive; nice atmosphere; good pecan selection.

We were lucky that the Google Maps routed us through San Saba and ended up stopping here for a quick breakfast grab. Excellent food and service and atmosphere. Must try the waffle with their homemade whipped cream. Phenominal. Couldnt ask anything more for a road trip.San Saba, 03/2023

Loved stopping in here for a quick breakfast and lunch while staying at the Dofflemeyer Hotel next door. The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Their quiche, oatmeal with fresh berries, and waffles were a great choice for breakfast and their lunch paninis were delicious. While waiting for your food you can do a little shopping in their store.

Bad service. We were there the Saturday that has passed. 15 minutes for a chai latte made from store bought chai?! Barrister attitude unprofessional.

My girlfriend and I took a day trip over from Llano to see what all was new in San Saba since the last trip over. Had lunch here and have to say I was a little bit disappointed this trip. I had soup and a 1/2 sandwich. The sandwich was OK, but much smaller than I thought it would be and the soup, while delicious, was barely above room, temperature, which was a real downer. It probably would have been spectacular if it was hot! Hopefully, the next time it will be!

Best lunch spot in town. So glad downtown San Saba has a spot like this!

Insanely good sandwiches. The pies are other worldly. San saba has it going on

Nice looking and clean. Good variety to choose from. Service is awful. Waited 45 minutes for waffles and oatmeal. Didn't get oatmeal because they ran out. Came and told us 35 minutes after we had ordered. Waffle were okay but nothing special. Disappointing because this place has a great potential for being awesome being in San Saba.

It is with a heavy heart that I bestow the rating of 3.5 stars upon this restaurant. A single experience should never ruin someone's reputation, unless it was particularly horrendous. That said, this OUGHT to be a 5 star establishment.I have eaten here and previously had a good experience (try the pimiento cheese sandwich—it is AMAZING!)I came back today wanting ice cream, but they were out of nearly every flavor. They were also out of pecan pie. These made me sad, but it was close to closing time, so I understand. I wanted ice in my tea, but the machine was out—but one of the ladies gave us ice from behind the counter.Ok, the egregious error. The blueberry tea. It literally tastes like olives—strongly. It was without a doubt the worst tea I've had. Don't get it. A single sip lasted hours. Legends says a cupful can kill a man.

Cool spot to work or just grab some coffee and food in a historic building downtown. They also have every flavor of pecan you can imagine along with ice cream, fudge, etc.

Small shopping area for various gifts or whatnots - look for the Savanah Bee items - those are a must-have - also a small coffee shop area with a wonderful menu of coffee, breakfast and lunch items.
