Rented the auxiliary room for a birthday party. It was the perfect place.

Amazing place! Everyone is so friendly. The food was so good, the service was incredible, and the ambiance was so nice. We were in town to go hiking and this was the perfect way to wrap up a long day. The bar is so cute and both of the bar tenders were so nice! Special shout out to our waitress Bailey, and Maddie who literally saved our vacation (she also works at the hotel, girl does it all).

Service is awful. Staff is always sitting around on phones. Food is good some days and awful others. But they do have a whole gluten free section which is its saving

We had great experience and overcame some mishaps for a nice evening of San Saba dining. I think the green beans and dry aged sirloin were average but on this cold January evening the atmosphere felt like a Vail steak house.

Fun place with full bar and generally good food. Also great to go for the full bar amd friendly atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Dining room is easy to get to but the upstairs bar is 3 levels of stairs without option of elevator (no elevator. )

What a cute and friendly place! We had a gluten sensitive person in our party, they accommodated every request. I’ve never seen a restaurant have gluten free options for just about everything on the menu- wow! Amazing! I’m from San Antonio and would drive up to this place again!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free requests were accommodated for 99% of the menu items- so amazing!

For a $130 (before tip) meal for 2 this was a very disappointing experience. We arrived around 2:30 on Saturday 12/30 so not a terrible busy time of day as evident of I believe 4 tables occupied all of 2 people each except a large party of 10.We placed our drink order and two beers on tap were not available. After reconciling the available options we thought that was completed and our drink order was submitted. After 10 mins of waiting for the initial introduction of our waiter (receipt listed as TRJ I beleive) we are told our drink order was not submitted so we needed to let them know what we had ordered. Drinks arrived and we were asked if we planned on ordering food. My response that is kind of why we are here. Follow up what would you like then. We would like to start with the Crab Cake. Well we don’t have that today. So on a Saturday at 2:50pm on a holiday weekend your establishment is already out of a primary appetizer. Awesome ?.We ordered our steaks and I asked for fries instead of the mashed potatoes. Response that is an upgrade. Sure ok. My plate is delivered with mashed potatoes and fries and sans the veggies I was told was the other item that came with the meals. I dodge I bullet there as the green beans appeared to be fresh from a can and over peppered from what was on my wife’s plate. The next time we saw the waiter was when they placed the check on table but no rush of course. Never asked up if we wanted another drink, dessert or a to go box. Now back to the $48 dry aged ribeye. It was about as thick as a leather sole dress shoes and seasoned about the same. I am not sure how new this establishment so maybe they just opened and they are working out the kinks but I didn’t get that impression. If I was the ownership group and executive management team I would re-evaluate the ENTIRE team that was in shift during the day on 12/30. I felt like the staff had just been snatched from a Sizzler from 1986. You are pretending to me a higher end steak house but playing with inferior staff in the front and back of the house. FYI branded yoga pants with no dainties underneath is not something that should be seen on staff either. The building and esthetics are very well done.

12-28-23 It really saddens me to have to leave this review, as we have been coming there for 6 years. This was our first bad experience. Party of 10.The first issue was, 8 ordered food. Two orders were red stagg. Six got their food which included 1 red stagg. 10 minutes go by, we ask the waitress about the second order of red stagg. 10 more minutes , we ask again. The other 2 people in our party come in and they order red stagg. 20 minutes or so later , we get both orders of red stagg. The very late order is half the size of the other 2 orders. And it is being shared. The rest of the food was good.ThanksAlvin , Tx

I normally enjoy this place, though I’ve noticed some improvements that can be made. We were sat & given our drinks/food, however our waitress never came back. We were out of drinks for the most part & then waited 25 minutes to be checked out until I finally called the restaurant while being inside, so someone could give us the bill. Thankfully Autumn answered, apologized & checked us out immediately (the bartender). Tip was given to Autumn, great person! Service is lacking, the restaurant was also not busy at this time.

Great food and price. Beautiful place.

Pretentious and over priced. Loud due to all hard surfaces. Extremely limited menu due to Friday, 11.24.2023.Service was sloooow. Bernaise sauce for Filet of Beef was served as a glutinous mayonnaise. Communication issues between front and back of house. Hopefully, the recent staffing issues will be resolved quickly. We were disappointed as this place had previously received high marks. We do not anticipate hurrying to dine there again.
