Awesome venue in Texas, been here a few times and last time was during a bingo event. Very well managed event. I've always been impressed with the wines here until today when I purchased a bottle of Garnet. This must be the worst wine I've had in my life, especially at $38. Absolutely unacceptable. Aired out the wine a few minutes and first hit on the nose was a punch of vinegar to the nose. Got over that, but the notes on this one were absolutely horrendous. A $3 bottle...
This was our first time at Haak Vineyard and Wintery, and we had an amazing time. Robin was a great tour guide! She greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. She was super knowledgable about the history of the winery and about the wines we were trying. She was personable, funny, and makes me want to go back for another visit. If you go to Haak for a wine tour, be sure to ask for Robin!
Our wedding was at Haak Winery in March and we had the most amazing experience and lovely wedding day! The venue is perfect for both smaller and larger weddings. Our wedding coordinator Kristen Wollenberg, and the entire staff at Haak, were incredible and made everything a breeze.
