Terrible Experience. The owner is shockingly rude and unprofessional. If you accidentally walk in when the bar is closed, even if the door is still unlocked because you just saw someone else walk in, be prepared. Instead of simply telling you they’re closed, the owner may immediately start yelling, using inappropriate language, and even threatening to call police. Absolutely unacceptable behavior towards customers.

The owner is unprofessional and always hogs the pool table despite advertising free pool and the taps never work. If the owner can't do something as simple as be respectful and professional to his customers then it will give him a bad reputation. Get it together Berto. Learn some respect.
Fun little bar! Open later than most in the area and always has the games on. Sometimes there's a guy outside making tacos. Bar 1899 is def my go-to watering hole when I'm in Texas.
