Fun little bar! Open later than most in the area and always has the games on. Sometimes there's a guy outside making tacos. Bar 1899 is def my go-to watering hole when I'm in Texas.
We always love going to 1899. Quaint, cozy, (sometimes) quiet little place. They have started to have something for entertainment nearly every day of the week. They have poker nights, naughty bingo (with regular AND naughty prizes), karaoke, acoustic singer(s), dart League & they're continuously thinking of new things to have for people to come in. During football season, they have all the TVs on & people come in to enjoy the game(s) & food that's provided....
The only complaint I have is that the bartender doesn't wait on tables. Seems to me if you want good tips you would want to
