Allow me to preface this edited review by saying the manager and the staff for the most part are wonderful. The food is still as good as it was 3 years ago. But tonight we had a disturbing experience, not any fault of the manager at this location. We were dining with friends who mentioned he was former military, as is my husband. We have dined here for at least 10 years and have never asked for the military discount. The issue is when we went to pay our check, we were informed...
My experience at Garcia's was a godsend re: Mexican Food... I'm from Minnesota and have come to realize that I don't like most of the Mexican food I've had here...but Garcia's...yum! I ordered the Brisket Taco...absolutely delicious! I also had a frosty Margarita! Also a side of Beans...not the soupy ones but solide yummy beans...I'm so going back!!

Always loved Garcia's but not so much lately. Today server Marianna was not friendly. A sausage with potato and egg taco was $5. Ordered a menudo and barbacoa taco to go and got home and had no lemon or cilantro. No napkins in the to go bag either. Spent $60 and usual military discount only applied to card holders not total bill. Will stay away for awhile.
