This Puerto Rican food is about authentic as you can get without going to the island. Food always taste fresh and they don’t skim on the portions. One plate will definitely feed two. The pork, rice, and yucca plate is where it’s at, but the chicken and “güineitos en escabeche” are a great alternative if you want to try something different.
I found this place and I was very pleased. When I got there was a long line and people waiting in the car which is a great sign of good food. The food takes a little bit to get it because there is a lot of people waiting. When I saw the pricing, I thought it was a little pricey but when I opened the food I really that nope not pricey at all since they give you a lot a lot of food. The piña colada was big too. I've been in San Antonio for 3 ½ years now, and I've visited just about every Puerto Rican restaurant and food truck. This place, in my opinion, has the best tasting Puerto Rican food in the area. It has that authentic Puerto Rican flavor, and the prices are fair for the amount of food they give you.
