Poblano cheese enchiladas were absolutely amazing. We had several service staff making sure everything was good. I'm sorry but the yapping little dog in the dining area was a bit much. I'd love to go back but will leave immediately if I hear that dog.

Sal-O-Mon is running a top rate establishment with great food, great service and a wonderful neighborhood ambiance. The live music adds a very nice touch.
You should try this place. It is not a Tex Mex restaurant. They don't serve chips & salsa before the meal ( ). Service was slow and the Manager spent more time with his friends than on customers.The food was amazing. It was very flavorful and well-presented. It's a little pricey compared to typical Mexican restaurants; but the food was delicious!

SAL O MON!!! words cant describe how unbelievably impressed I was eating here…. The atmosphere - the food - the service - the cleanliness! This place is super CLEAN! AND THE BOOZ! The margaritas are the best in New Braunfels.The food…. The BEST mexican food in new braunfels hands down…. I cannot believe how incredibly delicious the chicken verde enchiladas were and the chips and salsa. The rice the beans… EVERYTHING WAS TO DIE FOR. You ever been to a mexican restaurant and they bring like 2 of 3 salsas for the chips and maybe 2 usually just one is good? Not here…. Every salsa they had was filled with flavor BOLD BEAUTIFUL FLAVOR!!!The staff was phenomenal!!! The owner walks around and personally checks on everyone… i mean just unbelievable…. We went on a sunday at 1pm and for the life of me i could not understand why it was not packed… best keptSecret in new braunfels maybe? Do your self a favor and GO TO SAL O MONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The cuisine is true interior and authentic Mexican cuisine (not yellow cheese Tex Mex), and it absolutely incredible with authentic ingredients and flavors. Their wine list is the best in New Braunfels, and if you need assistance choosing a wine ask Oscar the proprietor - you will not be disappointed. And the service is exactly what makes a fine dinning experience fun and unique, with complete attentiveness to the details. Probably the best dinning experience in New Braunfels.

This is NOT Tex-Mex but more traditional food, which is delicious. Very kind folks who take their cooking seriously. The restaurant is very clean and the food is wonderful. Right next to Above Ground Pizza.
