The opening time is definitely not accurate

The food was ok...but the owner looks at underage girls like they are a piece of meat...creepy!!! I wont be coming back again...He should be reported.!!!!

I tried this place in the food court at the San Marcos premium outlets. I enjoyed everything I tasted. I visited with several sisters and we each tried something different and everything was on point. Authentic soul food, well seasoned and well prepared. I wouldn't have expected this quality of food in a mall food court but here they are. I'm coming back next time I'm here for sure!

Recently I ate here as another vendor was out of salad! What a delightful treat and meal I had! My order was the four vegetable plate and everything was prepared fresh. They even made me a glass of unsweet tea and steamed fresh cabbage for my entree! I was able to eat healthy and experienced phenomenal customer service. Thanks and I will be back!

When we walked up to check out the menu, the owner introduced himself to us and with my permission gave my toddler a free icecream treat. The staff from the cook to the cashier, were so kind and welcoming. THE FOOD. I haven't eaten a sandwich that fast in my life. I had the bbq brisket, and it was so tender and juicy. It fell apart in my mouth. All of our food was piping hot and super fresh. The sauce that came with it was delicious, and I appreciated the fact that it came in a separate container. Will absolutely be back with my family!!

I’m so disappointed. After waiting almost 30 minutes for our food, we were disappointed with the food. No flavor. This place was recommended by a friend. Only good thing from my experience, my friend is reimbursing me.

Great service! Visiting from AZ and tried this place with my Dad. We both got “The Alexander”. The food was decent but what did it for me was the service. It’s only been open 8 months and started in the owner and his son’s backyard cooking brisket. Very friendly place.

OMG 🥰 I’m so glad Mr. Alexander got my attention as I was looking to see what I wanted to eat at the food court. Everything sounded and looked so good but I did get THE ALEXANDER & made by the Mr.Alexander & it was the BEST Philly I have ever eaten 😋 The Mac N cheese the mashed potatoes with gravy are great & I loved the Greens. I got a sample of their Banana pudding homemade ice cream & I have to say that is my new favorite ice cream & I can’t wait until the ice cream shop is open !! The banana nut bread didn’t stand a chance it was so good & moist.
This place is somewhere I will be definitely going back for more! The workers were great an make you feel so welcomed 😃
