I tried this place in the food court at the San Marcos premium outlets. I enjoyed everything I tasted. I visited with several sisters and we each tried something different and everything was on point. Authentic soul food, well seasoned and well prepared. I wouldn't have expected this quality of food in a mall food court but here they are. I'm coming back next time I'm here for sure!

Recently I ate here as another vendor was out of salad! What a delightful treat and meal I had! My order was the four vegetable plate and everything was prepared fresh. They even made me a glass of unsweet tea and steamed fresh cabbage for my entree! I was able to eat healthy and experienced phenomenal customer service. Thanks and I will be back!

When we walked up to check out the menu, the owner introduced himself to us and with my permission gave my toddler a free icecream treat. The staff from the cook to the cashier, were so kind and welcoming. THE FOOD. I haven't eaten a sandwich that fast in my life. I had the bbq brisket, and it was so tender and juicy.
