We decided to do a pilgrimage to see the painted churches in the area. Lunch stop was here and such a nice gem. The staff was accommodating since we had a fairly large group (15). Various orders off the menu. I can comment on ours and while when we first thought this would be very posh, we quickly found out that this was delightful. Driving from Houston to San Antonio looking for a light dinner with a glass of wine. We don’t eat red meat so BBQ places are not our first choice. What a delight to find a sophisticated yet totally unpretentious place with great salad and fish options in a small town like Schulenburg. Lovely plants both inside and out are icing on the cake. Strongly recommend.
