We drove all day to get to Schulenburg, and I'd do it again just to eat at Tulum Cafe. The first thing I noticed was how good it smelled. The food was probably the best Mexican cuisine I have ever had. The service was great. We're going back there for dinner tomorrow night since we'll still be in Schulenburg. Why go someplace else when this is the best!

This place has it all.I had the 12 oz ribeye cooked to medium and it was spot on pink in the middle, perfect char on the outside, and every bite was heaven. My coworkers had Mexican food and commented how good it was. The green and red complementary salsa was loaded with flavor a little kick. Not sure why they have negative reviews, guess some people are just haters. I was passing through and thought I'd hit up Whataburger and came across Tulum. Thought I'd try the local faire, especially with the pork chop special being only $10.With an appetizer of a chicken quesadilla I can tell you I left completely satisfied. Everything was tasty, the service was impeccable and overall, with a relaxed atmosphere, Tulum's cafe was a very pleasant surprise.
