Delicious food as always, service as attentive though can get a bit slow when it's full, which is totally understandable. I love the curries, noodles, appetizers, so many awesome dishes at Merlion! Shout out to Bryan who has been our waiter the last few times, he's been an awesome host to walk us through the specials, takes meticulous care of whatever special requests my family has had, and really takes our experience to heart. We'll definitely be back soon, Merlion is a date night staple for us on this part of town!

I'm gluten free and ordered that way. Could not finish my meal my stomach hurt too much. Drinks and waiter were great. Bill was ridiculous. My husband order the special, was offered it with sea bass. There was an up charge on top of the $45 price. We were not informed of that when he ordered it. Was not a big portion for the price. It was so loud we had to yell to talk. People recommended Merlion but we were not impressed at all. Very disappointing dinner.

The food at Merlion is always excellent! Apparently the kitchen was short staffed and our meal took a long time to be served, but it was fantastic per usual! I wish the door between the bar and dinning room was closed more often as the bar music made it challenging to hear across our table.

I was really looking forward to trying the Chicken Satay, it’s a favorite dish.
Theirs was not very good at all, chicken was large chunks or tiny bits with varying degrees of doneness. The sauce was basically peanut butter warmed in a microwave, and very skimpy in volume.
Dry and lacking any kind of thought, flavor, or anything really that was enjoyable.
I didn’t even bother going for a main dish. Wouldn’t go back.

As previous customers, we love Merlion. Great customer service and great bar tenders. All of them were checking on us often since we sat in the bar area. Food was amazing and so were the martinis!!

Be prepared to wait for 30-40mins for anything come out of kitchen and you have to catch a bartender to make sure it is put in the system and is coming. Font on menu is not suitable in the dark bar setting, it makes reading menu very very difficult. Parking is very difficult. No parking spot anywhere at the building, and I had to park far away and walk there.
