Everything I've tried on the menu has been fantastic! From the gumbo, TAC, club sandwich, roast beef dip, prime rib, shrimp... I could go on. It's all delicious! The bar in the back means it's sometimes a little loud depending on where you are sitting. Service is good.

We had to sit in a small corner in the main diner by the bar. It took our waiter a long time to even acknowledge our presence. We were fixing to get up and walk out when he finally came and asked what drinks we wanted. The seat I'm talking about should be removed. People were bumping into my wife every time they walked to the bar and waiters carrying trays above your head the whole time.

I had the shrimp and grits with an egg and it was amazing. My son and spouse had a different hamburger. They said it was ok but nothing special. Asked them would they order it again and they said no. I would come back for the shrimp and grits for sure.

Our go-to when we don't feel like cooking and the bar is a great hang out on the weekend!

Went to Classic for their coconut cream pie and coffee because why not? Holy moly but that was the BEST coconut cream pie! I had forgotten how much I like their desserts! I mean it is as good as I make from home using Betty Crocker's, before 1966 cookbook...back when recipes cared not about anything healthy and therefore fantastic recipes!! Our server, though busy as hell, stopped and made a brand new pot of coffee for us. Tasty and much appreciated. Gotta love the wonderful service. If I had just an extra 1000 bucks hanging around? She deserved it!! Get thyself to Classic asap!

Off the busy NASA Road 1 you'll find this delightful little place. Despite the small size there was a generous amount of space between the tables and it had a neat retro 50s look on the outside and inside! The menu is very colorful and a little tricky to read but it has a very extensive menu with a large variety of sandwiches and southern style foods. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was terrific! The fries were pre salted and peppered to a perfect amount and the burger had been cut in half which made it a lot less messy to eat! I ordered a cheesecake slice to go and was not disappointed! Our server was prompt and very sociable too making it an overall great experience! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Me and Hubby went last night for dinner. It was his first time visiting the cafe and I hadn't been here in a long time (maybe 15 years) I was really looking forward to eating here again. Hubby ordered the buffalo wings and the Ahi tuna. I ordered the seafood platter with the gumbo. For dessert, we had a piece of carrot cake and apple pie to take home with us. We also ordered a bowl of gumbo to-go to bring back to our daughter. The buffalo wings were good but a little overcooked to me but hubby ate them up. The Ahi tuna looked delicious but he was disappointed in the plate for the $18 price. My $27 seafood platter looked good but the grilled redfish was REALLY dry and looked like someone ripped off half the fish. This wasn't edible. The shrimp was very fresh and tasty, the oysters on the platter were tiny and disappointing and the NOLA crab cake was very mushy and gross. But, the worst was the Gumbo!!!! The rue was burnt and you could smell it was burnt. When it came out I thought it was red beans and rice it was so thick and probably the worst Gumbo I've ever had in my life. I should have stuck with the French dip because that was always good in the past. Carrot cake was on point and very delicious and the young man waiting on us was great! He was very busy but still attentive!

Our family hits Classic every first weekend of the month for its famous Banana Cream Pie. Our ritual usually also includes crab & shrimp jalapeno poppers, cheese sticks, seafood gumbo, fried shrimp po-boy; French Dip; and Grilled shrimp Caesar salad. All good. Everytime. Casual, laid back vibe. Excellent waitstaff.
