We took a chance and tried it and I must say it was excellent! Food was hot and plentiful. Service was good. I must have came when it was quiet but we were tended to well. I got the platter along with Fried Pickles and some kids meals. Definitely will come back again.

This restaurant is absolutely perfect! I love the built in sink for the back for customers who get their hands dirty! So authentic and the food and prices are unbeatable! they also have a couple of different ways to season and spice things up, not to mention their specials are the perfect price for everything you are getting. Highly highly recommend. The wait staff is amazing!

What a pleasant surprise. My family and I stopped in for lunch for our father's day celebration. Everything from the service to the food was great. Everything we ordered was delicious but we particularly enjoyed the rockefeller oysters, fried shrimp and chicken wings.

Stopped in at lunch today. Place was empty and we know why. The food sucked! My 10yo ordered 2 pounds of crawfish after the waiter told us "they are really good size!" My friend ordered 5 pounds. Maybe 2 of the 7pounds total were edible and they werent even peelable as they were smaller than my pinky nail. I had a poboy that was so salty I couldnt eat it. The waiter said he would give us a discount for the several pounds of bad crawfish that couldnt be eaten but he only took off $3. We definitely wont be back and cant wait for another business to take over.

Amazing food and service. Priced too low in my opinion for what you get. GM came to table to check on experience it was amazing and can’t wait to come back. The crawfish not big at all! but taste amazing. The snow crab is good too.

I have never seen a restaurant designed in such a manner. The cheese puppies I think they’re called were so good. I got a boiled seafood option and it was great. My waiter Casey was so friendly. I love how they have the sinks for you to wash your hands after getting deep into their various dish selections. I was hoping to find a new seafood spot and I have. Nice music selection and a simple relaxing atmosphere. What else is there to ask for. The cherry drink was tasty.

My wife and I stopped by on a whim and received really good service at the bar. The place is really nice and very clean. I was disappointed in my oyster poboy, because of the way it was put together. The oysters were sitting on top and would have fallen off if I had tried to pick it up. I had to take it apart and reassemble it so that I could eat it. Overall, the food was good.

The food was amazing!! Had fried calamari for appetizers perfectly cooked oil was fresh not old.The server Joey was amazing was very tentative with checking on our drinks and food. Also, jalapeño mango margarita was excellent.

The service wasn't horrible. There was only 3 tables seated and that includes us. The server could of checked on tables a little more instead of socializing with the host. Refills and check had to be asked for. Food was good for being local and I was craving fish and shrimp.

This place smells good! We started out with fried mushrooms and pickles and the came out piping hot and crispy with just the right amount of breading. I had the shrimp poboy and my husband had the boiled shrimp in garlic butter. The flavors were on point delicious! We will definitely be coming back! If you are in the Kemah area, come give this place a try!

Ya'll run don't walk to sunny seafood! We tried everything off the happy hour snacks menu. The mushrooms and calamari were yummy. The pickles are very lightly breaded. I liked them my kiddos did not. The shrimp cocktail came with salsa instead of cocktail sauce. We had a crab po boy, gumbo, and boiled shrimp and crab in what I think was called sunny seasoning. Everything was delicious (with the exception of the gumbo it was pretty tasteless. the roux is so dark we were expecting way more flavor) the wings were Hella good and I don't normally eat wings. the service was on point! 85 bucks for everything. I had a bloody mary and it was very good and only 4 bucks on happy hour menu. Be forewarned it was strong.

I decided to give Sunny a second chance. The server was amazing. They stayed late for us to finish eating. They alright after all. Try the crawfish on the weekend though. The food was okay, but the service was not. We had fried pickles which were undercooked, we also had crawfish that had amazing flavor even though they were kind of muddy, we had to ask for napkins multiple times. I never got my Cajun season at all, my friend had to ask more than 3x and 2 different people for a tool to eat her crab legs and butter came after we were halfway through the food, it would have been cold if we had waited for all parts of our meal to arrive to the table.

After reading the reviews we decided to give this place a try. Let's just say, I've had better seafood. We all ordered the shrimp boil and it was not good. We also ordered fried pickles which were unseasoned and undercooked. I would not recommend this place. It's not good at all. Hopefully they'll step their game up if they wanna compete with other seafood restaurants around here.

Service was out of this world. Grace being my waitress she made my experience great. Be sure to ask for Grace. Drinks were great too, but the food wasn't good. The crawfish was overcooked, and even the house sauce had a burnt taste. The Rockefeller oysters were definitely under cooked. I wanna love this place hopefully in the near future the food will get better.

First time I visited and it was a great experience. Joey was my server and was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the fried fish and shrimp, I substituted the regular fries for Cajun fries it was $1 more but worth it. I could only eat half my meal very good size fish and shrimp. Will definitely be back.
