This review is specifically about the wings. I consider myself a wing lover, and I have tried them at pretty much any restaurant that offers them. These are PERFECT!! the BEST in the area BY FAR!. They are a good size, juicy AND crispy.. few people are able to offer such a perfect texture combo. The sauces are unique and delicious and the dry rubs come loaded with flavor. Wednesday is half price wings. Don't miss out on these wings!

We have been going to The Backyard for a few years. Always a great time as a result of Chris and Shelby. The food was also great. We went this weekend and they are no longer employed. This is very unfortunate !!! We won’t be back

The service was terrible the tables were sticky and dirty the food was awful I had the lobster Mac it was awful the red pepper flakes on it were so strong I couldn't eat it the drinks were terrible I won't go back

I'm in an interesting situation I have never been in when wanting to review a restaurant.
We just happen to visit during a sort of reset for the restaurant. They explained they were resetting some of the menu items, and revamping a few other things as well.
The flavors were there and most of the food was cooked quite well. It seemed with new staff there was a little confusion with what came with a dish I had ordered (breakfast plate) but the staff handled it wonderfully.
Flavors of what we had, wings (traditional & garlic Parmesan), truffle Parmesan fries and the kids Mac n chz to try. The paremsan fries didn't seem tossed to spread the truffle oil and the noodles in the Mac n chz might not have been shaken during cooking as some bites were a little less than al dente.
But the staff was FANTASTIC!! They were all helpful, appreciative of the feedback and checked on us quite often. There is no host and they make sure to tell you to have a seat anywhere and the feeling it gives, is comfort and quaint. Very inviting, friendly and they even have a pet friendly patio in the back.
I would DEFINITELY recommend stopping by and trying the Mac n chz. They are aware of what I thought might have happened but if that's fixed the flavor is AMAZING, and we didn't even get the add-on toppings.

This place USED to be good. Till covid hit 😞😞😞. Just like every other place, you could tell the difference in the QUALITY in ingredients, the CUTBACKS and overpriced. It literally tasted and felt like you were just eating flour (like a sandy feeling). Very sad.
