This was my first visit to Backyard in Seabrook and it did not disappoint. The food was really good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was laid-back and enjoyable. Highly recommend checking it out!

Spent over $200 on food and drinks at brunch here. Sitting in a booth, there was a hunting show on 3 out of 4 of the TVs. I'm not against hunting, but I'd prefer not to watch people killing animals first thing in the morning. Asked our server if they could change the channel to golf, which was on the fourth TV. Manager comes over and turns all the TVs on to Fox News. Look, I don't want to watch the news or animals being killed during brunch. It just wasnt a nice atmosphere. Won't go back.

Awesome little side street gem. It's very relaxed as you seat yourself and the place feels cozy and not over crowded. The staff was very friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. Generous portions.

We were winding our way back to Northwest Harris County from an overnight in Galveston and decided to drive through Old Town Seabrook to see if anything caught our eyes for lunch. What a find!!! We loved our meal at The Backyard and will definitely come BACK to The Backyard. I only got two pics - just the food. I had Crawfish Cakes Benedict with sweet potato fries, and it was delicious! The eggs were perfectly poached and the crawfish cakes were loaded with crawfish. I usually have to add Tabasco to a dish like this to spice it up, but there was the lightest sprinkling of cayenne atop the creamy hollandaise, and the effect was delightful, a very balanced flavor profile. The fries were piping hot, thin-cut, plentiful, and good. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, which was described as 'a' biscuit but was actually two, with a side of sausage. We both brought half of our meals home, because the portions were so large. We didn't imbibe this time but say someone get the mimosa flight, which looked awesome.
The service was quick and friendly, and the artwork on the walls was fun. The booths have wooden benches, which are a little hard, but it's not like you're there for 3 hours.
To reiterate: we'll come back to The Backyard. Recommend!!

I ordered uber eats, got (2) backyard burgers , truffle fries and pork belly. Overall, the food was overpriced for what it was. Burgers were bland, little meat. The fries were undercooked. The pork belly was acceptable and this is why I am giving (2) stars otherwise would be (1). For the money we spent , we were expecting more. This was really a âwhateverâ meal and will not order from here again.

Super cute little spot in a little house. Our server was super sweet. I'm glad I tried this place It has a really vibe. Has a spicy Moscow mule It was delicious their food was very flavourful . It could be very heavy Tried the corn Mac and cheese it was Very very cheesy Nashville hot chicken salad was good. Their pork belly fries were good just a little bit too much fat on the pork belly. Glad I tried it.

What did I just spend $80 on? Who knows because I didn't get an itemized receipt, just a credit card bill. After our server Stephanie got me the wrong drink, didn't give us the mushrooms on my husband's crawfish, didn't even put in my food order! They tried to bring us a second order of pork belly, which I guess we should have kept (along with the wrong beer) but we were honest. Who knows if they were honest in taking off the mushrooms they didn't give us or what on earth we even got charged for... We watched everyone around us who came after get their food before realizing mine wasn't coming... She insisted I didn't order it. Yea buddy, I did. Maybe you shouldn't drink your mistakes. The Mac is good, but the tacos are weak sauce. $10 for two tacos - three tiny shrimps and like 5 dinky cabbage shavings? Just took away another star on the food. Won't be back.

Food was great tasting, service was quite tragic. Staff was friendly and kind but gah dang was everything slow. Took forever to get drinks, took forever to get refills and took forever to get food. Not to mention one of the drink orders came out wrong then when we were served food, one of the orders was completely wrong. But once we were served the food and drinks, everything tasted wonderful, and the atmosphere definitely lives up to the name and is quite cozy. So if you arnt in a hurry for anything and dont mind a few hick ups, I'd recommend it.

We made the drive out here based on reviews here. We were greeted by the bartender and the reeking smell of urine in the dining area and odors from the bar. We couldnât stand the smell so we left which is unfortunate because reviews and photos were good.
