I am not sure why I keep trying Carls Jr. in Texas. It is not the same place I grew up with in Anaheim CA. I'm not sure if the food aits around longer, or the ingredients available here aren't as high quality, or eating at a truck stop is generally inviting a stomach bug or straight up dysentery. Either way, I'm probably going to hold off on any locations in this chain until I'm back in so-cal.
Oh. I had a kids cheeseburger, my wife had a western bacon and fries. Even the soda fountain was busted and didn't have enough syrup to make the soda right.

I’m from Cali and I live in San Antonio. I was on my way to Houston to see my mom in the ER and I saw Carls Jr!!! It’s so rare and there aren’t many out here so I was so excited. I walk in but lightning had taken them out. BB saw my sad face as I walked out and went in the back and made me what I wanted. I left cash for her and she honestly just made my whole day. Praying the rest of my day goes well, but I’m so grateful for this simple act of kindness as I head to the emergency room with so many unknowns. Thank you, BB. Promote now! She needs a raise! This is the type of service that brings customers back.

Can't put a drive through closed sign so you sit there for no reason, dude inside just stands there while you wait for no reason, no drinks, no cards excepted so you pay a atm fee for no reason, didn't even get to get food

Been craving Carls Jr and was determined. Went through drive through no fountain drinks, and cash only. No one on intercom. Went inside and pulled out cash paid an extra $4.95 at ATM to walk up to order, girl doesn't look at me and goes to the back. There was a young man in the back working at a snails pace and showed no value or interest in his work. I could only imagine what the food would have tasted like, walked out out of there with a 6 month crave still going.

Not good
It's just as good as I remember. Most of the Carl's Jr. restaurants around my area closed, so it rare I get to have it. This one was perfect. The staff was very friendly. The food was outstanding. The burger was very flavorful and the charbroil always gjves it a nice smokiness. The fries were fresh and crispy, not too salty. I will make sure to stop here anytime I can.
They did amazing with my order which was outstanding and they had it ready in record time. very friendly staff and very clean lobby. Will have to stop again next time I'm in the area

I visited this location and, unfortunately, I have to say that out of all the restaurants in this chain I’ve visited over the past five years, this was by far the worst experience. I’m a long-haul truck driver and a loyal customer of this brand — I’ve eaten at their locations all across the country. This has always been my go-to place for a good and reliable meal. But not this time.
A young man with long blond hair, who I later found out was the shift manager, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He forgot to add the bacon I specifically ordered and paid for on my burger. When I returned to address the issue, he reacted in a completely inappropriate manner — he snatched the bag with my burger right out of my hands. This incident was captured on video.
If anyone from the management team or those responsible for quality control is reading this, I sincerely hope you take this situation seriously. Such behavior, especially from a shift manager, is absolutely unacceptable. It not only ruins the experience at this location but also damages the reputation of the entire brand.
I’m giving one star, though this visit honestly doesn’t even deserve that. It’s deeply disappointing to see my favorite restaurant hire employees who treat customers this way.
