I am not sure why I keep trying Carls Jr. in Texas. It is not the same place I grew up with in Anaheim CA. I'm not sure if the food aits around longer, or the ingredients available here aren't as high quality, or eating at a truck stop is generally inviting a stomach bug or straight up dysentery. Either way, I'm probably going to hold off on any locations in this chain until I'm back in so-cal.

I’m from Cali and I live in San Antonio. I was on my way to Houston to see my mom in the ER and I saw Carls Jr!!! It’s so rare and there aren’t many out here so I was so excited. I walk in but lightning had taken them out. BB saw my sad face as I walked out and went in the back and made me what I wanted. I left cash for her and she honestly just made my whole day. It's just as good as I remember. Most of the Carl's Jr. restaurants around my area closed, so it rare I get to have it. This one was perfect. The staff was very friendly. The food was outstanding. The burger was very flavorful and the charbroil always gjves it a nice smokiness. The fries were fresh and crispy, not too salty. I will make sure to stop here anytime I can.
