I was freezing in Sealy on a regular Texas February day and stopped in for something to warm me up. You know a good Mexican restaurant if there are Spanish speakers at the tables. There were plenty. I asked for beef soup. They were out - another good sign. Then I went to the menudo. It came out perfect. And I mean perfect. We were passing thru on our way to New Braunfels and found this little spot and decided to stop. We ordered the chilaquiles with salsa verde it came with beans. ? my husband ordered a side of nopales (cactus) my daughter ordered the egg and potatoes and it came with beans and tortillas.
