A-tan Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar

Made an online order for Sabrina. Total came out to about $25. Waited until the order was going to be complete per the online order. Got to the restaurant and I’m fairly certain they didn’t even put in my order - made me wait another 10-15 mins. Bartender didn’t even say anything, was just going to make me wait until I asked what’s going on with my food. I didn’t even get notified about the food - had to go up to the bartender again and ask. Got home and realized they didn’t even add my pork in my miso soup. 🍜 food was alright especially for the price. Felt like I just paid for water and spice.

The food was good portions were great but the timing of all the food arriving at the table was poorly planned keeping in mind we did have a large party of 10. it was just very awkward they served the birthday boy last I am assuming they forgot his order we all had almost finished our food by the time he got his. The wait staff was very apologetic about the incident but made sure our drinks were never empty.

Spring rolls are amazing. The chicken lo mein is amazing. The a drop soup is amazing and the chicken fried rice is amazing.

Logan is the best! Great kid, really took care of me and my family! Best service in a long time! Oh and almost forgot… Delicious food too, best sushi I’ve found in this town !

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would! We ordered around 5 and did not receive our 2 ramen bowls until almost 8… the Ramen was flavorless and it was extra expensive for the pork ? IF I WAS YOU I WOULD NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! Keep your money!!

A perfect place. I can say from a 25 year career in the us navy, I have tracked all over Asia and been stationed in Washington state, Hawaii, and San Diego, Ca. Who would have thought that I would have to retire and move to the small town of seguin, Texas, to find my favorite Asian bistro and sushi? It’s true! Seguin’s motto. “It’s real” starts with A-tan setting the standard. Great service. Great atmosphere and outstanding food. Check it out. I promise you will be impressed.

My favorite restaurant in Seguin. Hands down! I have never been disappointed. The food is delicious. Every sushi roll has been fantastic. The wonton soup, general tso's, tonkotsu ramen, and lunch bento box are some of my favorites. Sitting at the sushi bar is fun, too.

Phenomenal food, service, and price. The sushi is masterfully made with exquisite taste and presentation every single time. Vegan-friendly, and they're happy to add tofu to any of their main options. My wife and I don't eat out often, but when we do, it's almost always at A-Tan. It is the best restaurant in Seguin and can compete with all the major cities nearby. 100% Recommend!

I do want to start this by saying the food was incredible. Everything was very very good, sushi rolls are fantastic and the portions are generous. The issue that I had was with our service. Our server took our order fine but it took a very long time to get our drinks from the bar, we ordered appetizers, some sushi rolls, & a few dinner plates. Everything came out all out of order. I've worked in restaurants so I try to be fair and understanding when it's a busy night. However I do not appreciate being rushed out by having our bill brought to the table. We would have liked to hang out a bit and maybe order another drink from the bar but again we felt as if we were being rushed out. There was still 2 hours before they closed. I will say that I will be giving this place another go as the food was very good and I believe that what we experienced was not the normal.

This place is a gem. If you can go during lunch and get the bento box, you are getting a great deal. The portions are large and the quality of the food is top tier. We go here almost every week

This is my happy place for lunch. I get the gyoza and the cherry blossom roll, or the 2 roll lunch special.

But more than that, this place is special. They call me by name when I walk in. They ask about my wife and son. They care!

I am no longer working in Seguin, but if you live and work in Seguin, this is THE PLACE to go!
