Amazing place for families to hang out and relax, they hold wonderful events from concerts to vendor booths and kids activities. My favorite is the store called Artable Curiosities, highly recommend for teachers and crafts, really affordable reuse crafts all based on donations with cheap art classes suitable for everyone in the family. I’ve always had a positive experience at the Schoolyard. Mikey’s Philly cheesesteaks has the best fries ever!!!!
Francisco the cook for the backyard was very well mannered got my food out fast fresh and especially delicious. I will definitely be returning again for more!
Great family place to hang out! They’ve got drinks, sweet treats, and food! Live music, tvs for any sport event, playground and other activities for family fun. CLEAN atmosphere.

Seguin Schoolyard is a sports bar that opened in 2024 and sits on the grounds of a former schoolhouse that opened in 1871. The bar is part of the Seguin Schoolyard grounds, which include a bakery, hair salon, art center for kids, cheesesteak shop, shops, and more. The outdoor area has a stage that gives Luckenbach vibes, covered and uncovered seating with picnic tables and deck chairs, and an outdoor bar for concerts. Inside, the bar is spacious and comfortable with bar seating and living area-style seating. The staff are super fun, friendly, and attentive. Guests can try sMack'noodles and enjoy a great vibe. The place is family, kid, & pet-friendly and a hidden gem for shows in 2025.
